This treatment did not make my teeth better despite going back and forth with the dentist and vendors. The dentist tried to claim going the extra mile by fixing a problem I never had on my teeth and it was their mistake. The shifting of my teeth with this treatment at one point was mortifying and embarrassing because that's how they wanted to leave my teeth! The dentist tried to say it looked good but it looked bad! I'm unhappy with the results. Also, they couldn't even make the retainer right and fitted correctly. I don't think this dentist should offer Invisalign. I should've gone with an Orthodontist and not a general dentist. The receptionists seemed very fake with their interactions. Make sure to keep your receipts because they will try to say you missed a payment when you didn't. Save yourself money, time and frustration by going elsewhere.

I…read morewent to Dr. Kaur on the recommendation of someone who had been going to this office for their entire life. She recommended Invisalign to me. I am missing a lateral incisor, one of the teeth next to my front tooth, I was born without it. My top teeth have always been crooked, but she told me Invisalign was perfect for me and that the gap was closed enough and it would straighten out, it didn't matter that I was missing the left lateral incisor. I went for it since it was mostly covered by insurance at the time. She shaved my teeth down so there would be room for them to shift. So I did the whole Invisalign thing, top and bottom teeth. Once the process was over, my teeth were a little straighter, but they were not the results they were hyped up to be, and it's bc I'm still missing that tooth no matter what. That's not the biggest deal in the world. But what IS a big deal is that Dr. Kaur greatly over shaved my teeth. They never shifted nearly enough, and this is years of wearing that retainer at night. I take a bite of food, everything is stuck between them. I think my cross bite is worse too, it's like the teeth in my mouth fit better before the Invisalign. When the first round was over and there wasn't that big of an improvement, insurance would no longer cover if I wanted further fittings, and I wasn't going to pay out of pocket. I really feel like Invisalign wasn't the best option for me, but is a kickback for the dentist. Like when a salesman pushes you to get an upgrade because they know you're vulnerable about something, and in this case, I always felt that way about my teeth. I'm not missing any bottom teeth but I know they were over shaved down because there were no gaps before, and after the Invisalign, I have tiny gaps where food gets stuck. It's been a huge pain for me over the years. I've always been an avid flosser but I can't take a bite of anything without food getting stuck. I'm so disappointed and I stopped going to Dr. Kaur. She's a lovely woman, with very sweet staff at her office, but her recommendation has only made my life more inconvenient. She def got paid for it though... I regret the Invisalign, and I'd need major cosmetic dental surgery for my smile to be normal. She made it seem like it would solve the problems of the missing lateral incisor. I shouldn't have listened to her.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They narrated their care and take the time to educate their patients on current evidence based practice. From my visit, I can see that they use new technology and keep the patient centered in their approach. Huge shout out to Erica and Mandy who did a glistening job with my teeth cleaning. She even shared with me new techniques that are better for my teeth. And as I was leaving, they give you a bag of goodies and a bright orange beach towel for their new patients! This is not a dentistry mill where the pack patients into the waiting room then slowly see them. When I walk in, they recognize me by name! My only complaint is that they are not in the Delta Dental network. They do submit bills to DD, but DD doesn't pay out very much. So expect hefty out of pocket expenses. But the service is so good, I haven't ventured out to another dentist that is in network. The technology in the office is very good. Digital Xrays and digital patient records. Their computers are still running XP, which is beyond end of life and no longer gets security patches. So I do have some concern about the security of their IT, and protecting patient records. They really need to get up to 2016 standards with modern and secure PCs. I like their very early morning hours (start at 7am) which means I can have procedures done before work. Parking is also easy, in their reserved spots. 5 stars!

This new 5 Star Yelp…read morereview is for a much more complicated (for me) dental procedure that took place from May 2024 to March 2025: In May 2024 Dr. Cherilyn Kasperian my Chula Vista Periodontist at Twin Oaks Periodontics removed one of two almost 40 year old lower molar dental implant posts that had failed using careful surgery, bone grafts and stiches to lay the ground work for a new implant in the months to come. September 2024 Dr. Kasperian reinstalled a new updated titanium implant to replace the one previously removed. Late March 2025 Dr. Hirota in National City implanted my brand new three (3) crown bridge appliance designed by Dr. Kasperian on two titanium implant posts (one old and one new). I had some quiet concern I kept to myself about the outcome using new and old implant posts but the truth is I could not be happier! I have my bite back! And, I can easily floss under my new 3 crown dental bridge appliance. I can easily recommend Dr. Kasperian and Dr. Hirota to others. You will not be disappointed.
