Currently, they will more than likely have to send you to a satellite clinic or simply refer you to a different clinic due to the lack of qualified staff and equipment. Don't waste your time. Find a legitimate business that will truely look after your care.

I recently went to the Mad river office for a teeth cleaning......my day off from work and it takes…read moretwo hours to get their for 8:40am appointment! Dr.Moss unilaterally decided not to clean my teeth but did 15 min exam and left me in chair , no explanation ,no warmth, no real humanity with service and without consulting me about my needs or expectations! Before I knew it , I was given green slip to come back, never mind I waited over a month for this visit! An overwhelming feeling of false superiority was the treatment I felt and lacking every bit of humanity or concern or even respect for my time! I am no fool, if you don't like treating poor people with respect then don't do this kind of work and accept medi-cal customers ! The whole visit was encapsulated by a shadow bravado of self importance and lacking mutual respect for those whom he serves and at 50 years old I don't believe my feelings are lacking the value of a perspicacious truth! I canceled my further appointments and will find somewhere that values my time and serves me with the warmth of humanity.....Oy Vey in deed! i could not ever see myself recommending this Dentist to any friend, neighbor or stranger and highly recommend he re a himself with the simplicities of life such as kindness and mutual respect for those from which you make your living by providing service to

Before my appointment, I read these reviews and got quite worried about going…read more My experience differed greatly from what others have reported, though this dental office was my only option going through Medi-Cal. I was seen very quickly after I arrived-- I didn't even finish my new patient paperwork before being called back. Once in the chair, the X-ray tech Sophia was very kind and communicative about what she was doing. The process was a quick and comfortable as possible. My dentist broke the bad news about my teeth in a kind way, as to not upset or shame me. She gave her best recommendations and relieved a lot of dental anxiety I had coming in. While this office is seen as a last resort for many, being so isolated in Scotia, please consider my experience along with the other reviews listed!

Two months ago, I came in with a medium-sized dark spot on the back of my tooth. The tooth was…read moresensitive to hot and cold. The nurse couldn't manage to take proper bitewing X-rays, so she just did a panoramic scan -- without even giving me a protective lead apron. The dentist couldn't find the cavity, and I had to literally point it out myself. I'm not the doctor, but it seemed like he didn't understand what was going on at all. I don't remember his name, but he spoke with a Filipino accent. They scheduled me an appointment two months later. I showed up on time, but had to wait two hours in the lobby and another thirty minutes in the chair. The nurse then suddenly told me I had a "huge cavity," even though at the first visit they said it was very small (and it still was small). She prepared to inject me with four syringes of anesthesia for a tiny spot of decay. I told her I didn't need that. Honestly, I should have left right then. When the same dentist finally came in, he said the cavity was small and would only take 10 minutes to fix. The "treatment" was awful. The nurse clearly had no idea how to handle instruments: she stabbed my gums with sharp forceps (it was cutting pain), shoved cotton deep into my throat causing a gag reflex, and even burned my tongue with the curing light. When they finished, I made the mistake of not checking right away. Only once I sat in my car and looked in the mirror did I see that the cavity was STILL THERE. Instead, they drilled the top of my tooth where there was no cavity at all! When I came back to complain, they tried to blame me, saying I "pointed to the wrong spot" and that I should have had bitewing X-rays (which the nurse had failed to take in the first place). In the end, they did work on the wrong area, left the actual cavity untreated, and sent me home. My tooth is shaved down and continues to decay. The nurse even lied to my face, claiming the dark spot "might just be pigmentation," while ignoring the fact that the tooth hurts in that exact place. This place is absolutely disgusting. Do not ever go there.
