I have known Dr. Rakhmanchik approximately ten years. When I had good health and few complaints, I…read morefound him to be an excellent doctor. He is charismatic, pleasant, knowledgeable, obviously has a lot of experience under his belt, helpful, practical, and on the same wave length agreeing with me that the less medication, the better. But as soon as I had something of a serious nature for the first time in my life, he for some reason is not able to accept my complaints as valid. And he breaks one of the rules of doctoring which is to believe the patient's complaints! He has actually for the past seven months been denying that what I describe as my symptoms are happening! This is the logical extension of his sunny disposition. I remember now that he has often been that way. I once told him that after wearing a heart monitor for 13 days, the result was first degree heart block. He said, "Oh, that's nothing!" My stepdaughter told him he had a spot on her lung of 0.5 centimeter. He said, "Oh, that's nothing!" And I remember how in past years, I always leave his office feeling better than when I came. But the day came seven months when I presented with a serious condition, and he has persisted and persisted since in saying, "Oh, that's nothing. It's all in your mind." (He has actually told me that the main thing wrong with me is my mind. I learned that that is called "gaslighting.") And I know that isn't true, and I know he is wrong. And if this same thing happens to you, you should be apprised that that is the day you must make a decision--whether to continue to put yourself in danger or to part ways.

Bad care, care quality, and we had wait long time to see him…read more This doctor is cruel and has favoritism for his own ethic people who are sick. Anyone else from different background gets treated unfairly. He loves money and doesn't care customers health. His staff and him keeps pushing the surgery day as far back as he can to extract more money from insurance. When you ask questions, he doesn't like to answer or hear any questions the patients might have. I was so concerned for my father's health and he belittled me when I raised my concerns. He didn't give me set plans to heal my dad. He keeps changing plans and continues to sell his own products like the pills and creams which does NOT help at all. It is just a band aid to the problem and not a solution. He does not have any solutions. He also emailed me with bunch of grammatical mistakes and unprofessional attitude. I am really concerned about how he got certified to be a surgeon in nyc. He also have bunch of other offices in queens and Manhattan. Be really careful about scam doctors like him. I have attached his bogus medications and creams as a proof. I also attached the prove he is not professional and needs to go back to school to learn about humanity skills. I can keep going about how disastrous this doctor is about the way he treats members of the public who are his patient. I had to beg him to stop hurting my father and he wouldn't listen and told me to go find another doctor if I didn't like his service. I did exactly that and found a real doctor, not a scammer like Dr. Fulmes and his entire staff. Thankful god is always on my side. The real doctor checked everything and preformed the surgery asap, without torturing and prolonging the procedure and surgery. I suggest you not to go to this doctor. Most of good reviews are all written by his own staff and his favoritism patients.

Listen... if you're thinking about going to Dr. Edward Shen, just GO. Don't even second guess it!…read moreFrom day one, the entire office made me feel like more than just a patient. Anna, Erica, and the rest of the staff (including the gentleman at the front desk) are absolutely incredible--always smiling, always welcoming, and they actually take a moment to talk to you and make you feel comfortable. It's giving family vibes every single time I walk in, and that matters more than people realize. Now let's talk about Dr. Shen... AMAZING is an understatement. I came in hunched over, in real discomfort, and honestly not feeling like myself at all. In just a matter of weeks, this man had me standing straight again! Not just physically better, but feeling confident and like me again. That kind of care and results? You can't fake that. He listens, he cares, and he knows exactly what he's doing. Period. If you want real results and a team that truly treats you with kindness and respect, this is where you need to be. Hands down one of the best decisions I've made for my health. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shen and his entire team you will not regret it!!

Dr Shen is attentive, astute, caring, compassionate, friendly, highly efficient, takes the time needed with each patient and is always up to date with the latest information regarding treatments, medications and conditions. I am the type of person that has been lucky to have found some amazing doctors in my life. Therefore the bar is set high when it comes to my assessment of doctors that treat me. He has all the qualities shared by doctors I have kept in my life for decades due to their excellent work ethic, attention to the patient, and my confidence in their treatment plan. He is now amongst just a handful of doctors that I plan to keep seeing in the future when his specific speciality is needed for my care. The staff in this office is extremely friendly, on top of their game, and a pleasure to deal with! Especially the one person I have dealt with the most, Anna, who is always so friendly, so very helpful, and gives you confidence that she knows all the ins and outs of every aspect of her job and the office. I know that if I have questions, need information given to the doctor, or assistance with details regarding my treatment plan, that she is someone I can always count on to get things done and get them done properly. The same can be said for every member of the medical team at Spine and Pain Specialty Care. I am so very grateful to them all for their service!

I have been a patient of Dr Lusky since 2005. He was always professional, welcoming and friendly to…read moreme. Wilson who worked as the front desk receptionist was always pleasant and accompanying when it came to scheduling appointments and retrieving test results. Also notable was Cheri, who helped out up front as well for the care of patients in the back. That all being said, the overall office's professionalism and utmost care of patients has drastically changed for the worse with the new additional staff that was brought in. I was unknowingly assigned to Dr Pulcheri. She seemed professional at first but had many issues from prescriptions not being filled correctly when requested, to months of unavailability to see me and falsifying medical records from teladoc calls. I tried my best to accommodate her derelict of job duties but to no success. I even tried to get the new receptionist Natalie, who was hired after Wilson, to help facilitate my health needs. At first it seemed like she could handle the fast paced and demanding position of answering phones. but that was short lived. She quickly became unprofessional and contentious on the phone. She would over talk me, cut me off in mid speech and wouldn't relay my messages to Dr Pulcheri. This went on for the past year. I had to ultimately make the hard decision to leave the East Medical Practice. No ill will towards Dr Lusky or others at the practice not mentioned in my review. I just can't continue arguing with an unsuited receptionist and a doctor who seems more concerned about her travel plans and personal obligations ( as she would tell me when I visited ) than of her patients, leaving them with no medical care or alternative support.

And if you look at him long enough you might mistake him for Justin Timberlake (He's been told this btw). He is so friendly and he's pretty good at remembering who you are so you don't feel like you're going to become just another patient in the crowd. His office is located a block away from Grand Central Station so it's pretty easy to get to him. The check in process was a bit confusing to me. I entered one office to check in and the was told to go to another office where I was being expected. When I walked into that office, they had no idea who I was and I had to repeat the process of answering check in question all over again. If Dr. Wolff schedules you for a procedure, it will likely be downtown at Liberty Endoscopy. His staff there is very efficient and on the ball with time management. After prep, Dr. Wolff comes in for a short but sincere chat on what will be happening, how you're feeling, and time to give answers to any questions you might have. The next time you see him, it will be in the OR and he explains everything to you again as well as make sure you are okay. I love that he is so genuine putting his patients first. He or his anesthesiologist will guide you into lullaby land as you drift off to oblivion. And then you wake up to find that everything is done. The Doc comes back to discuss his findings with you after you've had time to shake off the sleepiness. My Gastroenterologist is better than yours...lol.
