I've been to this location many times over the years for various ultrasounds and x-rays. They have…read morea very efficient check in process. Typically, there are at least 2 people at the front desk, someone always greets me and there usually isn't a wait. I typically do all of the on-line pre-check in things so at arrival, I'm usually just asked for my name and ID. I think that my longest wait in the lobby was about 20 minutes before being called back. Each time, the technicians were friendly and professional. They generally are pretty quick with completing the test and getting everything finished. Appointments can be scheduled on-line or by calling. Appointments are now also available on the weekends. The office shares a common parking lot, however, I've never had an issue obtaining a close parking space. Overall, a top notch location and medical services. I prefer to drive to this location due to the history of good treatment even though other imaging locations are closer to me.

SimonMed submitted Claim #51406286Z650H billing BCBSIL HCA U325 $1,002.00 for the CT Scan. The claim was processed on 5/20/2025. BCBS paid $771.31 of the $1,002.00 and said I owe the remaining $230.69. On the day of the appointment the office charged me $406.29 for copayment. I paid by credit card. Based on the claim paperwork I was due a refund of $175.60. I sent and email to SimonMed billing department to inquiry about the refund. They returned my call and told me I was only going to received a $163.77 refund. The remaining $11.83 was for a security deposit on the credit card charge. The SimonMed office staff failed to disclose the security deposit charge upfront. SimonMed's process for handling copayments and credit charges are unethical. I was charge a 40% copayment on $1,002.00! The procedure should be pre-priced and there is no reason a patient with insurance should pay that much in advance. They act like they have never charged BCBS. Charging a customer $11.83 ("security deposit") on a $406.29 charge is robbery! What is SimonMed charging a security deposit on credit card charges when such large percentage of copayment is being collected? The large copayment is essential a security deposit! I can't image how low income customers are being treated! SimonMed just lost a customer! BTW. The CT Scan staff was wonderful! There was no problem with the actual imaging process. There was also no long wait to be scanned.

I had an X-ray for my upper back on 8/7/25. They say it will take 1 to 3 days for the results. On…read more8/14/25, I had to cancel my follow up appointment with my doctor. In the meantime, I am dealing with the pain that continues to increase. Did they misplace my X-rays? Do they have enough staff to review tests? Not sure why on day 8 my X-ray is unread. Do I need to go to another imaging place? This makes no sense. If I knew it would take this long I would have not gone here. Lesson learned, will seek out another place. Any recommendations?

What I really meant to say is that the staff at ADG is very professional and helpful. I called them to see if they accepted my insurance (blessed) and they didn't have an answer right away but called me later to tell me that they did. I was able to schedule for the same day also. Things were working wonderful with ADG. When I arrived, I checked in promptly and was taken to the radiation room in no time. It was like the radiation was waiting for me. I was happy to see Spanish/English signs, it makes me happy to see that we are a diverse country, plus I love Latino Food, because, "Hi, my name is Julio! And I will eat your food! Haha! I'm hilarious!". Anyway, there is parking also. Oh! One more thing: what's up with the bunker inside the radiation room where the tech hides as you are getting blasted with radiation. Why is the guy hiding? Man, show some solidarity. I don't feel comfortable getting X rays, and the tech hiding behind an aluminum wall is not making it easier for me. That's why we need AI and bots.

He was super personable and made sure I felt comfortable. During the scans, he was so encouraging and explained each step to me. Stephanie helped assist during my appointment and she also brought a warmth and care to the room. I did not expect to feel such peace and joy during an X-Ray, but thanks to Jason and Stephanie, I did. Look forward to coming back if I ever need another scan! Thank you both!

Had to return for a CT then an MRI. They made us pay the 20% even though we had double coverage. My insurance pays 100% for Imaging and diagnostic tests. I have been submitting claims and paperwork for the last 6 months. All they had to do was submit the claims. Takes less then 10 minutes of your time. Your front desk person just didn't want to do her job.

Getting undressed for a scan is uncomfortable! UDI does an amazing job with creating a safe space…read morefor you to do so. They have a separate waiting area when you have to wait in the gown. There is also a private changing room. I had to have 2 different scans done and all 3 women were extremely professional and made me feel comfortable! I have been to a few other places and I can say with confidence that UDI will be where I go if scans are needed in the future.
