You can tell she really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. If you're looking for someone who's professional, gentle, and gives good energy every time, go to Mayra. I will say that your experience may be different depending on the waxer you get, so I'm specifically recommending Jasmine who you can either ask for or book with online. The front staff is also professional, but yes they do always try to upsell you on the very expensive wax pass. However, if you just say no they move on. The facility is small but the rooms and bathroom are very clean and well maintained. Truly can't complain.

Incredibly sweet, fun to be around & accommodating. I was referred by my sister-in-law, who like me, will only trust our skin with Christina. My first couple visits were for spray tans, which were perfect. Very natural looking. They give me confidence in the summer to show-off my legs. The sessions are timely & comfortable. She is thorough drying me off, making sure the spray doesn't stain my feet, hands and nails. I never leave feeling that tackiness most spray tans can leave you with all day. I am able to put my clothes on and go about my day! Not only does Christina excel in spray tans, but she gives the best & most relaxing facials. The only issue I had was I couldn't stay & sleep--since I was incredibly relaxed. My skin felt years younger. The products she uses are medical grade too. Rarely are things that are so good for us enjoyable too! Once you go to Skin & Spa you'll be hooked! P.S. Reluctantly I went to a different spa to get a spray tan while Christina was on vacation. This spa had good reviews, so I thought it would be alright. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was a complete disaster. I will never make that same mistake again!!!

I went there yesterday for my first time and was blown away by the amazing customer service; from the receptionist, to the other stylists who greeted me and then I met Allie who was my stylist. I have never met such a warm, caring and professional stylist in my life. we spoke at length to make sure she could envision exactly what I wanted, she talked me through the whole process and her fellow stylist, Nicole whose booth is next to us even helped out for a bit. My highlights are probably the best I've ever had in my life (15+ years of getting them done) and I am so happy to have found this place! Salon Voss you gained a new lifetime member!!! We looked through all the colors together, and I showed her the design I wanted. She executed it perfectly, and I was honestly so impressed with how they turned out! I've been to other salons where my nails usually start lifting around 4-5 weeks, so I have no idea what Laneva did differently, but whatever it was, it worked! I've gotten so many compliments on my nails, even now that they've grown out. I absolutely love them and would definitely recommend Laneva! If I'm in Virginia again, I'll definitely be back!
