Here is my Google review: Since there is a text limit on google reviews I decided to screenshot my…read morereview and add it to the images. Now... To respond to the Shop owner... It's genuinely astonishing that after 42 years in business, this is the level of professionalism and maturity displayed -- both in workmanship and in communication. I truly hope you keep your original response public, because it perfectly illustrates exactly what I and others have had to deal with. Rather than taking accountability, your reply is defensive, condescending, and riddled with petty digs -- including one directed at my girlfriend, which is incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary. You speak as though you're above your customers, yet your response shows the opposite: a lack of ownership, a lack of basic courtesy, and an apparent inability to address valid concerns without resorting to belittlement. To clarify a few things: First, regarding the bumper damage, I actually contacted AAA well before your response was posted and apologized for initially assuming the damage happened at your shop. I've attached proof of that conversation to show that I took responsibility for the misunderstanding -- something your response could stand to learn from. I asked AAA for the before photos of my truck because the after photos -- the ones taken at your shop -- did not match what I saw in person. Even the AAA agent reviewing the photos agreed the damage was not clearly visible in the second image. So while I admitted my mistake, your response takes a moment for grandstanding rather than simply acknowledging the confusion and moving on. As for the state of my truck -- residue left by your "highly trained technicians," mixed-up keys, and receiving the wrong invoice -- you dismiss it all with excuses. A truly professional business would acknowledge the oversight, apologize, and ensure it doesn't happen again. Instead, your response just reinforces the lack of accountability I experienced in person. Regarding the fuel: you claim the $20 in gas was necessary to flush the system, yet 5+ gallons for that task seems questionable without further detail. You also mention recalibrating the onboard computers -- but system recalibration is generally necessary only when components like new injectors are installed. Since that wasn't disclosed, I have every right to question what was actually done. Ultimately, I'm relieved I'll never have to return to this shop. This experience has been nothing short of a lesson in how not to treat customers. For anyone reading this: my original review and the owner's response speak for themselves. If you value professionalism, accountability, and basic respect -- you may want to look elsewhere.

They also were fully booked with appointments but given my circumstances took my car in and diagnosed and repaired the same day! They saved our vacation! Woody and these guys are exceptional! Their diagnostic inspection showed the entire coolant line/system/water pump needed to be replaced on my 2001 740i Sport. They explained everything in detail that needed to be done, and even showed me where the leaks where coming from. The quote I was given was more then fair...in fact, I was later told the hours put into the job far exceeded the hours quoted (four fold!). I was still given the original quote. The entire team is beyond TOP NOTCH! They also replaced my valve cover gaskets because they were in pretty bad shape, and they only charged me for the parts. Thank you, thank you! Trust me when I say...Angel is the BMW Master Tech you're looking for...he will take excellent care of your bimmer...and KingKoupe will not gouge you senseless like the dealer will. They honestly went above & beyond...and as an added bonus, they posted photos & video footage of their excellent work on Instagram. The waiting area is a clean and comfortable lounge with entertainment. The cost of the diagnostic inspection was discounted from the quote...and their exceptional work is back by a two year warranty. KingKoupe is the only place I will bring my beloved E38 from now on. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who truly cares about their BMW.

We have Maxcare with Fidelity underwriting. We only have a $500 deductible that should have been $450 by going to a repair pal. He unwillingly called fidelity maxcare again in which they told him they will cover and we should only be charged 450. The price then went for us to pay $647. We stated we wanted to make it home and that we were told to report if we were charged more as this is against repair pal and we should not be paying more than a $450 deductible. The car was done, test driven, and sitting in the back lot by 1320pm. We asked, why we couldn't pay to leave and were told they had issues with CarMax and couldn't let us leave until payment was made by CarMax. We have a one year old with us. We arrived at 10am 9/25/26. Then I said I would call the police as I would like to pay to leave and why be under contract with CarMax if they aren't honoring service. $198 difference. All the invoices are here. They were only changed because we kept calling Max Care. All items are the same price so it shows we were being scammed in the final pricing. Based on the three 5-star reviews for Edgewood Service and Tires, I decided to check them out since they were less than a mile from my house. I found the Manager, Alex, is a great person to work with on your car's needs as he is a professional and gives you an honest assessment. I went in on a Tuesday morning and asked Alex his availability. As luck would have it, Alex said he could get to it that afternoon. I then explained my situation. Alex said the A/C check would be $49.99 and an inspection report would be sent to me via email for further discussion. (I left my car there). I also asked the price of a full synthetic oil change and found it was comparable to Valvoline's 15-minute oil change. I told Alex I had a discount coupon for Valvoline so I would get the oil change done there. Alex said he would meet Valvoline's price, so I added that to my service. Later that afternoon, I received the inspection report with the technician's findings. It came with a picture and the areas documenting the A/C hose leaks. I called Alex up; he quoted me a reasonable price of $500 to remove and replace the A/C refrigerant suction line and hose, plus the addition of freon. I agreed to the repair and my car was ready by 4pm that day. My A/C was back to prime condition. What a difference a fully functioning car's A/C can be in the Florida heat! I am definitely a satisfied customer and highly recommend Edgewood Service a & Tires for your automotive needs. FINAL NOTE: I would be careful placing any reliance on the one-star reviews below. I asked Alex about these reviews. This auto shop does NOT rent vehicles. Turo is a separate business. I was told a diagnosis would be performed to confirm the problem. After about an hour, I was called and told that nothing was wrong with my A/C at all, but that my brakes and rotors supposedly needed $1,700 worth of work. I figured everything was fine with the A/C since they said it checked out, so I left. I didn't even make it a mile down the road before the exact same A/C clutch issue happened again. I pulled over, checked it myself, and saw the same symptoms I came in for. I turned around and brought the truck back, only to be told, "Oops, we didn't check that part -- we only checked if the A/C turned on." I had explicitly stated the issue was the clutch not disengaging, meaning the clutch plate was staying engaged even with the A/C off. If the diagnostic process was thorough, this would have been caught immediately. The disappointing part is that the focus seemed to be more on selling a brake job than actually diagnosing what I came in for. No clear diagnostic process, no communication, and no accountability. The one positive was that I eventually spoke directly with the mechanic, who was helpful -- but that only happened because I approached him myself, not because management facilitated it. Overall, poor service and lack of proper diagnosis. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. Paid $159 to have my truck run for a hour.
