I was surprised there wasn't a line of cars waiting to get oil changes (like I experience the last time I had an oil change in this town at a different company)... granted it WAS the day after Christmas. Upon pulling up, a worker came out, asked me what I needed, offered me a bottle of water (wow! Thank you!) and told me to pull on up. There were 2 gentlemen who sprang into action for my full service oil change. Once the oil was drained, I was asked which level of oil I wanted: premium $70+, middle level $60+ or lowest $40+. I picked the cheapest oil change and I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED and THANKFUL there wasn't a slew of up selling offers. (I SUPER DUPER HATE THAT!) My husband even texted me while I was there, "Don't let them up sell you stuff." The guys checked my air filter but said it looked clean (even showed it to me). More tire pressure was checked, the windshield washer fluid was filled (the light had been on for weeks and I hadn't gotten any. Boom.) and they washed my windshield. The staff here were WONDERFUL! I mean, so personable and friendly. I wish I got their names because the 2 guys who helped me were so great! I loved that Christian music was playing. Price: I mean, gone are the days of the $19.99 oil change. The ones here were like $42-72. CHECK ONLINE because I pulled up a $15 off coupon from their website, literally while they were working on my vehicle. I paid $36! We will DEFINITLY bringing our vehicles back here for our oil changes!

I'm up here for work and use valvoline at home for all my vehicles services for a few years now…read more So I decided to stop in and get my oil changed and even asked them to swap out my wiper blades and air filters. Figured I could depend on them to do the right things, boy was I wrong. First of all, the new guy didn't even have a uniform yet so I'm not knocking his ability or effort, but he really struggled to get the oil filter off and the new one on. My issue is that nobody came and checked it after he was done. The air filter in that vehicle is a pain, but it has 6 screws that are in a plastic mold. I watched him take 6 out, and when putting them back in, I noticed his drill never torqued up - (which they should not be using a 24v impact drill for this, it's plastic). After several failed attempts, he realized the drill was in reverse. He then proceeded to torque up 2 screws and then walked away. When it came to the windshield wipers, it took 4 guys to just get one side of the front on, also, incase you're wondering, you need to whack the vehicle with a screwdriver over and over to install blades. Then comes the back blade, all 4 guys back there trying and trying before one of them goes and grabs the impact drill and a socket and starts to disassemble the entire wiper from the glass. Using an impact/hammer drill could very easily shatter the glass. I couldn't take it anymore, I jumped out and asked them if this was really necessary, as I've replaced that blade before and didn't need to do it. After one of them got huffy and began to walk up to me I asked to speak to manager. I explained the entire thing to him and he assured me nothing was done wrong on their end and that I shouldn't talk to them in that manner. He denied the screws were missing and tried to say they were already missing. You can see in the pictures how clean it is where the screw was and also fingerprints where they removed it originally. So I decided to just retreat and file a complaint via cooperate. Then it gets even better. I contacted customer service at the corporate level and filed my complaint. At which point I realized, that when the gave me my receipt, they also gave me someone else's recipient with all of their contact info and address and phone number and license plates numbers. So now the complaint has both receipts and information on it. 5 minutes after I was off the phone with customer service, Jeremy decided it would be a good idea to call to inform me that I was dumb because the vehicle on the complaint was wrong and that I just called him to argue but I don't even know what kind of vehicle I own then proceeded to call me childish while he hangs up on me. I'm not sure what planet we're on, but customer service seems to be a thing of the past.

When I got my quote I was told I needed a cabin air filter, a Freon top up, and a new battery. Total price was $760 for that plus $160 for the oil change and diagnostic services. I said take the battery off because I have a warranty elsewhere with the battery. The quote price didn't change. So I asked for an itemized quote print out. The battery is still on the quote. Plus $100 for a cabin air filter plus labor Another $200 for a Freon top up. The only thing it actually needed except my warranty swapped batter was the cabin air filter that I picked up for $23 at a parts store. I'm sorry but $100 for the air filter through Firestone was way too high of a markup for a one minute process. The old manager would have actually talked with me about all my options. Today with this new person I felt like I was treated as some unknowing woman who will just pay any quote so my car works right.
