I'm upgrading them to a 5 star review after their outstanding tire replacement after I had gotten a flat 30 miles east of Midland when I was heading to Dallas a few weeks ago on a Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my Dallas trip that weekend but they were one of the few shops open on the next day, a Saturday, and are a tire shop on top of that. I had the flat plus its companion tire replaced for just a little over $200 including labor and it was done by noon that day, a lot sooner than I had expected. They also checked my other tires and found that replacing them wasn't necessary at the time. So I took another trip to Dallas recently and haven't been more pleased with my car's performance after the tire replacement! read more

I always take my car to this location. No matter the service my car takes most of the day to complete, this includes 7 hours for an oil change and an A/C diagnosis I got today (May 13th 2026). When I got my quote I was told I needed a cabin air filter, a Freon top up, and a new battery. Total price was $760 for that plus $160 for the oil change and diagnostic services. I said take the battery off because I have a warranty elsewhere with the battery. The quote price didn't change. So I asked for an itemized quote print out. The battery is still on the quote. Plus $100 for a cabin air filter plus labor Another $200 for a Freon top up. The only thing it actually needed except my warranty swapped batter was the cabin air filter that I picked up for $23 at a parts store. I'm sorry but $100 for the air filter through Firestone was way too high of a markup for a one minute process. The old manager would have actually talked with me about all my options. Today with this new person I felt like I was treated as some unknowing woman who will just pay any quote so my car works right. read more

I needed an alignment done on my ARI fleet truck. I was told I couldn't wait on it , but instead it would be done by the end of the day even if I showed up at 7am. Hard pass here. I called on Friday for a spin balance. I was told that they were too busy and that they could take me at 7am on Monday. I got out of bed, I showed up. There was one individual in front of me in line and he was told that they could not possibly take anyone for a balance until at least noon. They have an appointment at 7 and 8 and 9 and 10....blah blah blah.... If this is the case, why was I told to just show up? Instead I do what I was told and cannot be seen until at least NOON? What's up with that???? Was there some reason I was not offered an appointment as well, and instead simply just wasted my time showing up? I could have had this taken care of on SATURDAY if it were not for this. Now, I am sitting at a competitor who did not play games. I saw the negative reviews and decided to give the benefit of the doubt, but what a mistake that was...and all the useless comments from this place regarding them. This Firestone has been my grandmother's go-to car shop since it opened. The prices have been crazy, but back then, the service was phenomenal. I followed her lead, and after arriving in town on a visit, I wanted to use my lifetime alignment at this location. The manager decided to balance and rotate my tires as an upcharge without my permission. WTH?!?!?! I told the lady with the rainbow hair that I was not going to pay for services I did not authorize. So she said she would call the manager to find out what was said. I explained to her, "please call the manager, but when you come back, take those charges off because I've told you before. I never asked for a balance or tire rotation because I have an appointment to get to." So she comes back in trying to explain and I cut her off, telling he. " ma'am, I already know what he said, but I don't want to hear the commentary. I need my key and service report because I have an engagement to get to." She got very nasty and told me not to return to HER store and that she was refusing me service at that location in the future. I tried telling her I didn't need the extra commentary from the phone call, but she insisted and became upset when I denied her access to my time. Suppose you are considering coming to this location to yourself a huge favor and DON'T. The rude service is enough to make you keep driving to another location. It's just not worth it to be underserved, overcharged, and overtalked. read more

My daughter's car broke down Friday night, this seemed to be the only location in Midland that was open on Saturday. She made an appointment and had the car towed there Saturday morning. The appointment was early afternoon and she called late afternoon and was told they would not be able to look at it until the next day. On Sunday they said they could replace the battery but they don't have the working equipment to diagnose the problem. We had them replace the battery and didn't hear back again, after a couple of hours called and was told they now had working equipment and that she needed a new alternator. We had them replace it and in less than a week the battery light was back on. It soon went off again, she was coming back to Dallas for a week. On the way back battery light came on again, we took it to a place here in Dallas we have used for years. They diagnosed that the alternator that was installed looked to be a rebuilt one and it was failing. IF that is the case we were not told it was not new (I did not see the alternator), very disappointing. read more

I dropped my work truck for an oil change on a Friday afternoon. I got a on Saturday morning telling me I should get new tires. I said ok get me new tires. I was told they were to busy to put tires on my truck. I have to schedule another time. When I went to pick it up another worker said asked why I didn't want new tire. I informed him. I was told y'all were to busy to put on tires. He said yeah we could have but it's to late in the day now. Strike one Strike two. dropped my truck off on Thursday afternoon, I was off on Friday and took a vacation day Monday. I told them I needed it Monday afternoon. I called when I got back I in to town and was told that they just started looking at it on Monday and it would not be ready. I asked why it hadn't been looked at sooner and I was informed that they guy I checked my truck into had been off on Friday and Saturday and nobody bothered to check on it. First Firestone I've ever encountered that says they "don't" put on any outside tires. I called the day before I came and drove an hour and a half from Hobbs, NM to these guys for a mount, balance and to purchase the "Lifetime Firestone Alignment" that I have on 5 other vehicles and wanted it on this one. The Odessa branch put on the same tires that I brought in on my other truck 3-1/2 months ago. Guess I should have went back to them. I assumed all Firestones would operate somewhat the same. Trip wasted, day wasted, probably can't get in now in Odessa, lesson learned. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I brought my truck in for an alignment and they tried to upsell me on everything by lying straight to my face. The tech said I needed a set of new tires even though a new 4 set was mounted a few hours before i dropped my truck off. Then they said they can't do the alignment because some suspension parts were damaged even though they had been replaced the day before by a certified mechanic. What was supposed to be a simple $100 for an alignment turned into the tech lying about my vehicles condition and wanting me to spend nearly $5000. (They call The Police on me because I had an appointment). This is The World Worst Tires Services Company ever. On Tuesday 04/03/2018 at 2:00pm. I had a Confirmed appointment with this unprofessional Company to do an alignment on my car and when I arrived on time for my appointment the sales adviser who work there told me with an attitude : ( WE DONT DO APPOINTMENTS ) So I showed him the appointment confirmation email and he said with higher attitude: ( that's doesn't mean anything it's just an email and I'm not taking your car in ), so I asked for a manager to talk to and he said there's no manager today, so I asked for a phone number to set a complain on this place, And do you know what was his answer?! ( Google It ). Then he start telling me to get out of the store because I have an attitude or he will call the police!!!! So I I told him go a head and call the police and I'm going to google this unprofessional company customer service number to complain, And do you know what was his answer?!! ( get out of the store and call them). The police arrived while I was talking to firestone customer service and this unprofessional sales advisor told the police: ( I want him out of my store). So the escort me out while I was talking to the customer service. This place is a bad joke. Called them to make an appointment to recharge my AC. Before I could get a word in, I was told to hold for a minute. 20 mins later, I decided to go to their office and when I walked in the guy at the front was just there chilling and I was still on hold. I told him I had called and showed him my phone (cos I was still on hold). He just dismissed it, and asked why I was calling. I told him I needed to recharge my AC and he said he cNt even look at my car right now and told me to come back in 2 days. I asked him if I could make an appointment but he said I couldn't. I asked him what I could do, and he said I could drop it off in 2 days and they'll figure out what's going on with it and that'll cost me about $200. I tried to explain that I had run my diagnostics already and needed a recharge but he couldn't be bothered and just dismissed me. Well, I drove down to might wash on loop 250, got awesome service, paid $99 for the recharge and even got a free car wash. Firestone is a joke, the owner needs to look into who he employs cos they sure don't deserve their paycheck. read more

Well against all odds and people telling me never to go here, i did. It was too convenient as its located .5 miles from my house. I left my car at 11am, they said it would be done by the end of the day but they had a ton of cars ahead of me. I had the day off work so I said that was fine just so long it was done by the time they closed. They called at 2pm and the car was ready. Maybe it's luck but my oil and filter was changed in a reasonable time and the staff was extremely nice to me. I used a online coupon to get a cheaper oil change as well. So today they proved my friends family and other reviewers wrong. read more

Pretty poor customer service. Called to ask about appointments and was told they don't do them. Asked what I needed done and I explained that it's a company vehicle part of the fleet program and realistically it would be difficult to leave my work car for 3 days or more. The response was 'yeah well I have over 75 cars here needing service'. I get it that it's difficult to staff here in Midland being in management myself but the customer service was poor in how it was communicated. Won't be taking my vehicle there. read more

Both times I was denied services and told to come back at a later date. The last incident: I came in at 4:00 pm to get my engine light checked out. The guy tells me they don't have time today even though the store hours clearly states that the store closes at 6pm on Sat. Took my Lincoln in for an oil change and to fix/replace a tire that was flat. Dropped off my car at 9:30am called twice to check on it. Finally at 5:50 they call and say it's ready and I can come get it. I leave my house immediately and when I get there, no one is there. Despite any plans I had for that night, I had to leave my car overnight. Come pick up the next morning. And my tire is already looking flat again. I take it anyways because my tire pressure light isn't on but sure enough, later that day the light the comes on. I call back and ask them what happened, they said "maybe the patch didn't take" and I should bring it back in but I wouldn't have to pay. I ask if I can make an appointment so I don't have to leave mine and my 3 kids only transportation sitting on their parking lot all day and they said it's only first come first serve. Needless to say I would rather pay someone else 2x as much and actually get the job done than go back to Firestone. read more

I had a flat tire Saturday morning June 20, 2015. I drove into their store and went inside and there was some guy standing behind the counter with dark sunglasses and a very nonchalant attitude. I mention the sunglasses because it seems rude when talking to a customer and never removing them.I asked about getting a flat fixed and he told me they were behind and it would take 2 days before they could get to it. So I called my husband to come get me and while I was standing outside waiting another guy, Brandon, asked if I'd been helped. I explained my situation and he fixed me up and was done in about 30 minutes. I appreciated him taking care of my flat tire without dismissing me like the other guy. This place is a joke. Called them to have them check what the vibration was when my A/C was on. They called me later on in the day saying that everything was fine including the motor mounts, decided to have a tune up in which was a 500 dollar charge, then after the next day they called me telling me they had some good new and bad news in which the good news was tune up was done and the bad news was there was a problem with A/C Electrical motor and they wanted to charge me another 500 dollars to fix. They should of found the problem first and maybe I would of told them to do that work instead of a Tune Up for the price they were charging me. Wow! This place is busy but I can see why. Management seemed to know every customer that walked in the door and was able to take care of each one of them all while answering the phone and doing what looked like a million other things. I heard them tell several customers that there was a two day wait (plus it is posted on the door) but people just kept insisting that they be taken care of right then. It was clear what customers had been there before because they would walk right in, hand over their keys and would just walk out while others just kept yelling at the poor guy at the desk. My curiosity finally got the best of me so I asked and Brandon explained that those who had been there before knew what to expect and were willing to drop their cars off while other customers just couldn't understand that, like other businesses in town, they were short staffed and had a long line of customers who had already dropped their cars off. I felt so bad for these guys and just wanted to let everyone know what a great job you can tell they are doing. My car isn't ready yet but I have no doubt that when it is I'll be so happy with the whole experience that I'll be a customer for life, just like everyone else who has ever been there is. If anyone has a negative thing to say, trust me, they have heard it already and if there was something they could do to fix it they would've.
