I was looking at JD Beavers and another scrap place, but JD had better reviews so I went with them. They were super friendly, the process was easy to understand, and I feel like the price was fair. If you're doing scrapping as an ongoing business, I'm not sure how competitive their prices are down to the penny, but for what I needed (just getting rid of stuff and not wanting to deal with anybody shady), they were perfect.

The muddy entrance and drive is not the best for a scrap yard. They could really use a paved parking area with carts for smaller loads to be dropped off without having to risk a blow out on my way home. Great place that could use some improvements

I literally told three people about how nice the man there was and later found out it was Keith, an Ypsi legend. I was quickly able to drop off the styrofoam that I had for $3, not bad price wise. The only reason I rate my experience a 4 and not a 5 is because the parking lot is soooooo bad. Potholes everywhere and very muddy.

My garbage container I always find neatly placed and not just thrown down. Being handicapped, moving the trash container proves a challenge especially in the snow. They invoice their customers quarterly. I pay my bills monthly on the 1st day of the month. My March invoice was dated 3/4/19 and I received it on 3/7/19. The due date was 3 weeks, 3/25. After 3/25, there is a $3 additional charge. I paid my invoice on 4/1 including the $3 surcharge. They stopped my service on 4/2 and on 4/9 . The online payment was deducted from my account on 4/5. My frustration was the fact that they stopped service so fast for a service valued at $4 per week. My monthly bills exceed $5,000 and for such a low cost service they allowed no grace period. Perhaps they should invoice monthly instead of quarterly if their cash flow is so lean.
