This shop challenges those stories. The master mechanics there are really nice and understanding and will talk you through exactly what and how your car needs to be fixed. For someone who doesn't know the difference between a fender and bumper, a mechanic who'll take the time to walk me through everything is appreciated, not to mention hard to find. Loc Ho, the owner, was patient with me and answered all of my questions clearly. Will definitely be going here for all my car needs. -A

I told them it was probably the starter motor, and they told me the engine was dead and needed to be replaced. After sourcing and engine and pricing labor, I decided to find another source and shop and had the car towed elsewhere. After the old engine was taken out, the new shop told me they took a perfectly good engine out. Since the junkyard engine I sourced was warrantied, I had the junkyard engine put in. Fast forward to June and this junkyard motor I had put in also failed. Had it refunded through warranty. The new shop told me that the old motor would work fine and we reinstalled the old motor that A-1 said was "dead" in March. Fast forward to yesterday and my car won't start again- same conditions as before. Had the car towed to my new shop, they replaced the starter motor, and the car is cranking and driving perfectly. This was most likely the only problem with the car in March. A-1 Japanese Auto, also known as Parks Auto, gave me poor advice, I trusted it too willingly, and it cost me thousands of dollars and months of turmoil tracking down the root of the problem. Take your car somewhere else. I've been going to R&R Garage in Douglasville. May not be feasible for someone in Marietta, but they've done right by me.

If I could give 6 stars, I would…read more I had a mobile dent repair guy attempt to fix scratches someone left on my new car on the bumper and grill and he used matte black (my car is gloss black) when he told me he had the correct paint color... He also broke the bumper clips that ended up being unsalvageable according to Bobby (owner of Platinum). He got overspray everywhere and broke parts that shouldn't have needed to be replaced. So an absolute waste of $500 on top of making the car look worse than it did before he touched it. I have been looking at getting it fixed for some time now and I came across Platinum Collision Repair and saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. When I arrived I saw a bunch of cars in the shop that looked pretty much brand new so I knew I was in probably in good hands. I was instantly greeted by the owner and I showed him the damage. He gave me a free quote within 3 mins of me being there. I took some time to see if I wanted to wait a few months or do it now but after seeing person after person come to drop off their car within 5 mins of me trying to make a decision in the parking lot, I felt that was all the convincing I needed, so I got him to go ahead and do it. I dropped the car off 7-25 (Saturday afternoon) and it was done 7-29(Wednesday morning). He told me Thursday just to be safe and I get a call on Wednesday morning at 9am that it's ready. That's including them ordering a new grill, new bumper and painting. They are closed Sundays and I brought it later in the afternoon on Saturday so really it only took them 3ish days to order the parts, do all the necessary repairs to other parts not being replaced, paint the car and they even washed it for me! These guys at Platinum killed it and the owner Bobby was seriously so helpful and did his best to get me right after getting screwed over and save me as much money as possible. He even buffed the overspray off my headlight for me and it looks like a brand new headlight now. The car now looks like how it looked when it came off the delivery truck a year ago. They did the job for so cheap too! Can't recommend them enough... so much so that my mom is asking me what's the address and telling me she doesn't care that it's over an hour and a half away from her after seeing the results lol. I was there and a little old humpback lady with a Hyundai was there for an oil change. They charged her $150 some dollars for an oil change and two wiper blades. I felt sorry for the little old lady, she complained about the price, but to no avail. I had a quote from one of their competitor across the street from them for $115 quote for work on a European car but they would not accept walk-ins, and wanted me to drop the car off the next day. It was my wife's car and she needed it back, so I went across the street to Accurate. They did the work and diagnostic and charged me more than double the price of the competitor across the street who works strictly on European cars. Their work is okay, but slow as hell and every customer that was there during my recent stay was vastly overcharged, including me. Lesson learned, they will never see me again

Well, the check engine light came on, so I took it to a mechanic I trusted. I had used Alpha & Omega before and they did good work on my radiator for an honest price and in efficient time. This time they searched the emissions test failure code on the internet, took a five minute look over the car and told me my TPS sensor was malfunctioning.
