Once there, they were not able to help me with getting the code read, so I went to another business in the area. The code was read, but he did not provide me with a code number. Feeling like I didn't really get any assistance, I headed to Christiana Auto Parts. I was greeted and immediately assisted, providing me with the code number. I let him know that my son is a mechanic was at work that day and just needed the code. He asked if he could look under the hood, I agreed and he started asking questions due to curiosity on what could caused this to happen. He was very determined to find the cause, and asked to speak with my son. They messaged back-and-forth and worked together. This young man went out of his way and very determined to solve this problem. It ended up being a cap on the intake manifold that must've rotted and fallen off. He would not take any money for his efforts. He just seemed satisfied to be able to figure the problem out, reminded me much of my son who is the very same way. When a challenge is presented, it's like finding the missing piece to a puzzle. Bottom line, the courtesy, friendliness, and desire to help me out really impressed me. The only thing he requested is if I ever needed work to be done on my car that my son couldn't do, to come and see him. His name is Tommy, and said he and his father (and I think brother) run this business. I know it has been there for some time, passing by it for years. I only wished I had thought to go there first! I'm telling you, being a woman who has had many car problems in her life, know there are a lot of untrustworthy auto shops out there. I felt this business to be trusted in the short 20-30 minutes I was there! While I don't know the extent of work they do there, but definitely recommend checking into this place! I had to notate that the part numbers were different therefore the product was different. Mind you it took two servicemen to try and locate what I actually wanted which never was found even though online it said the store had it. Long story short I sat in my car figured it out went back and exchanged the bottles for the correct bottle. They were trying to sell me an Asian car coolant when I have a European car. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose because to my knowledge any car parts store will ask you for the year make and model of your vehicle to make sure they are selling you a product that is for your vehicle. They never once even asked me what vehicle it was for. I think my golden skin got in the way that day

I was able to book an appointment online, with an exact price quote on tires and installation. When I arrived at the store, my Service Advisor, Derick, was extremely helpful and answered many questions I had. He offered suggestions without pressuring me to purchase anything I did not need (or want). His service was fantastic. I left very satisfied, and now I have a full set of new tires on my car. Staff was great at accommodating the special circumstances (non OEM sized tire and aftermarket wheels). Tires were perfectly mounted, balanced and new TPMS sensors programmed correctly. Care was also taken not to scuff up the new wheels during install which was highly appreciated! Prices were reasonable considering the amount of labor that went into the job performed.
