The guy I spoked to told me that if I came into the store they would be able to look it my information and check the warrantly status. I went into the store and after waiting around for several minutes I was waited on. I was informed that the drain plug had not been properly sealed, causing an oil leak. After the snow melted from my driveway, I discovered large oil stains on my newly paved surface. This was discovered after my last visit to Tracy VW. There was no apology for the technician's oversight, and I was told the issue "sometimes happens." As a result, I was left dealing with the inconvenience of taking a day off work to address the problem, along with damage to my property. I bring my vehicle to a dealership expecting a level of care that avoids preventable mistakes. During the same visit, I was also told that my rear rotors were severely rusted and had worn down the brake pads--despite the fact that I had driven only about 1,000 miles since the annual service. This had not previously been communicated as urgent, which raised concerns for me about the consistency of their inspections. My primary concern is the damage to my property, along with the lack of accountability and communication surrounding the drain plug issue. The response felt dismissive, and there was no apology offered. For these reasons, I will be taking my business elsewhere and am sharing this experience to inform other customers. The owner of the company Adam, inspected the Coating and agreed to redo the application for free extremely time effective schedule. I instead opted to replace the vehicle and Scotts and his very helpful team help me determine what kind of vehicle I could get to avoid this unfortunate manufacturers faults in the future and they replaced the entire coating with a new formula at no cost to me.
