I will start this review by noting that I would rate the Service Department as a 4/5.... That's…read morewhere my rating changes. I went into the dealership to buyout a vehicle coming off lease. The vehicle was not originally leased at this dealership. I brought a bank check to cover the residual and state taxes. The sales person was preparing the final paperwork and then the GM and Finance MGR got involved. The Finance manager walked over and said that we will need to pay them an additional $7000+ to purchase an extended warranty, new plates and registration. I was prepared in advance with the price of a warranty. The GM and Finance mgr were trying to tell us that they need to make a profit and they have liability selling us our own car. This is not a true statement, I checked the internet and the dealership does not have any liability selling us our own vehicle. At one point we actually walked out and told them we were going to the dealer we leased the car from to finalize the deal. The GM came out after us to try and save the transaction. How desperate and pathetic can they be... He promised us that he would work with us to make us happy. He then brought us into his office to show his computer screen. The documentation fee was $999. I asked him how come it was so high considering they have spent 20 minutes with us. He told us that its customary for the industry. He said its even higher in NY. At that point he actually told us to leave since he knew that his payday with us was going nowhere. The end of the month is Saturday and a typical dealership would be busy finalizing transactions. This place was empty, no action. Seems as if they were hoping to hit a home run with us. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to buy or lease a car. Drive 25-50 miles and go to one of the larger dealers.

Awful people. We called them saying we has a junk car and needed it gone. It needed to be pulled…read moreout of the garage because it did not run. I also needed to get stuff out of the trunk that was my personal items. The gentlemen said no, that if he took it everything in the car goes with him. Why would you not let me get my bag that was in the trunk, what would they need that for? When we called the guy on the phone he offered 100 and we specified that it was a junk car, doesn't run, my boyfriend tried working on it and just didn't have the time for it. When the guy got here he called his boss and said the head lights were out of it and he door panels were taking good off. He then offered 50. We said the door panels are in the car and the head lights are in the car. They were there. He said well that's what they sell for money so 50 bucks take it or leave it. We basically did the work for them taking the headlights out already. My boyfriend is a mechanic so it was done properly. We just said leave, from the horrible attitude and not letting me get my stuff in the trunk, it was just all very sketchy and rude. They could have offered us nothing and we would have let them take the car. But they way they treated us was awful. I will never recommend them and urge people to stay away. We ended up going with someone from South River who appreciated the headlights out already and offered us more and let me get my bags out. I highly recommend Jersey Car Cash instead.

The only thing I would say is I was there a little too long. For a battery and the tests it took about 90 minutes and I was the only one there. They were super friendly though but maybe a little too much personal life talk during the service.
