I then got a call on Monday from a female at the shop saying our parts were in and they would like to get me scheduled for later in the week or the following week. Which was weird because I already had an appointment for the following day. We dropped our car off early in the morning and did not hear anything all day. I called later in the afternoon and the same female answered the phone. I asked for an ETA on when our car would be done. She said she could not do that and she would call when it was done. I felt she was rude and in a hurry to get me off the phone. So I called back and asked to speak to someone else who could help me more as I was trying to plan out a ride to the shop. She again was rude saying they had a lot of cars to work on that day, which was not my issue. I felt like since I had an appointment, our car would be a priority. I then asked to speak to someone else, which she did not like. I was then able to speak to a technician who was actually able to give me an estimate. Not sure why she couldn't take the time to go and ask for an estimated time. This is a very small car shop and would not have been hard for her to do. Then when I went to pay, I was told of a 4% Credit card fee. Which added an additional 65+ dollars to our total. Why wasn't this shared with us at the beginning? I most certainly would have brought in cash. But this was 10 minutes before closing and I needed my car for the following day for a long road trip. I am not sure why it is so hard to communicate with your customers. I was not asking for a specific time for when my car was going to be done. I understand we were not the only vehicle there. But get up, walk into the shop and ask for an ETA. And why is it so hard to be transparent about a fee upfront vs. waiting until a customer comes and pays? Sometimes the little things can go a long way. We will not be back. And I know that losing our business will not hurt your shop. But good customer service can go a long way!!

After a short time they called to let me know the engine was shot & they could do a used engine with 90K on it for $6,000 to &7,000. I opted to have the car towed to the Greeley Toyota dealer, where I bought it new thinking maybe Toyota might give me a deal on a new or used car. It turned out that the engine just needed new spark plugs & one ignition coil and now it runs great. Needless to say, I will not return to Accelerated Auto for any work after such an extreme misdiagnosis. I only hope it was an honest error.

Beware! Avoid these thieves at any cost! Fry's duped me into…read morethinking they were honest and fair after my first visit... maybe even fooled me after the second and third visits... But ultimately they have fixed nothing and have been charging me for extra obsolete work they never even completed ever since!? I've now spent $9k+ over my last 4-6 visits and most recently been out my work vehicle now for over a month... and it's still not fixed! I've paid the $130 diagnostic fee at least 3 times minimum now for the same exact issue that they just can't seem to find or fix!? They finally sent my vehicle (unbeknownst to me) to another mechanic where it ultimately was left for dead and abandoned after they did no work and killed the battery. Apparently Fry's decided that it was not a priority anymore and left it for weeks without even telling me where it was or what was wrong with it!? Once I finally got an answer to it's whereabouts, I had to fix and retrieve it myself!? I'm not a mechanic but thankfully I was capable of doing what they were incapable of and I got it running myself! Fortunately I'm not completely ignorant to the baffling complexities of a dead battery!? Friggin incompetent a$$ clowns! So I finally get my vehicle back home and head to Fry's to retrieve my keys where I'm greeted with yet another outrageous bill and threats of calling the cops because I "stole" my own vehicle from the other mechanics lot where they abandoned it!?!? Are ya kidding me!? Another $1300+ paid and they still haven't fixed the issue that I brought it in for originally! $9k+ wasted in total and a month+ without my work vehicle! And you guessed it! They charged me for the diagnostic fee yet again! Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me, right!? After months and months and thousands upon thousands of dollars wasted, my vehicle is still not fixed properly! A reputable mechanic will usually waive the diagnostic fee if you have them perform the work but these schmucks couldn't find the cracks in their own asses with both hands and a headlamp! Save your diagnostic fees and get your estimates and service elsewhere... And do not believe the bogus reviews from GF's or the blatant lies on their website! This is NOT a BBB accredited business!

Fry's Auto Care is amazing. The staff that they have knows what they're doing they don't fix…read moreanything unless it is approved by you. If you don't want something fixed they don't fix it and then if you bring it back they tell you it needs fixed and fix it if you approve it. I have more I would like to say but I'm going to keep that to myself because it's not very nice about a certain review that is down below. Just know that the guys at Fry's auto care take care of you and we'll fix your car as long as you let them do their job.
