They don't make any appointments, so it's first come first served. After intake--phone #, name, address, and what you want to get done--you'll leave your car with your tech and wait. It must've been about 40 minutes before I received a phone call that my car was ready. That's the only reason for 4 stars. My tech informed me they were unable to rotate my tires due to the fact that my front tires didn't have enough tread left on them. That was a good information since I will have to purchase new tires very soon. I thought that was a good customer service instead of went ahead and completed the job unnecessarily. Oil change ranges from basic for $29.88 to full synthetic for $45.88. There's one in the middle for $35.88. My tech recommended either the basic or the full synthetic. Since my car does not require full synthetic oil, I opted to go with the basic. Tire rotation is $2.50 per tire--I thought it was interesting since no one gets only one tire rotated, right? Shop opens at 7:00 am Mon--Sat, and at 8:00 am on Sunday.

In some cases (depending on the difficulty level), they will assist you with installing a part you purchase from their store. (True story: this is actually how I get my windshield wipers replaced). It really makes no difference what location you go to. This has always been my experience at nearly every store. To be honest, I'm not even sure why I'm reviewing this place in particular. I just happened by it because it's relatively close to where I work. Aside from that, I'm normally very leery of Dyer Street as a whole. I dunno what it is. But I always feel like whenever I park for too long on that street, I'll walk out to my truck and find my spare tire missing again. But...I digress. If you need a car part and want assistance finding the right one so you don't have to conduct a painstaking return, come to Autozone. They aren't even all that expensive. It was close to the Cassidy Gate right off post. I stopped by for a few items and between the staff and the availability of parts I needed, I thought between the store layout and the interaction with the staff made finding the filters, oil, and fuses I was looking for easy. The store was clean, the staff was friendly, and my rewards allowed for a discount. This location is the closest to post and convenient. It has its own parking lot. I will return.

And I'm glad I did. The professionalism Bruce's Auto showed was something of a rarity these days. I did not feel like I was getting swindled. They were very polite, affordable and timely. Too many times have I been taken advantage of by other mechanics but I can safely say you won't find such worries when visiting Bruce. Came in to get my shock absorbers , control arms, and sway bar links replaced along with a wheel…read morealignment. After driving it back home I hear a clunk coming from the rear just to find the whole control arm and sway bar disconnected entirely as if it was just left there. Not only that they apparently re aligned my wheels but I don't see how (nor feel it) they could do that with this not being properly fixed let alone to not notice it. Took my car somewhere to get fixed and now I'm being told I need new tires because the tread is too uneven or barely any left.
