    BEWARE DO NOT GO TO AUTOZONE…read more Last Monday I went purchase some power steering fluid before I went to work. The time was 8:10am . This autozone opens at 8am. I grabbed the power steering fluid and proceeded to go to pay for it. I was told that the registers was not up for cash payments because they just opened and the registers needed time to upload. So I proceed to wait for 20 minutes for the register to be available for me to make my purchase. After 20 mins of just standing there I asked why was the register not working for cash because they open at 8am and registers should work when the store is open. The manager Charlene said they not working and she don't have to have them working at 8am. I said that's your job to make sure customers can make payments and to start the system earlier so that it will be working at 8am. She yells and say she don't have to do anything. At this time another employee John Bowlings walks from behind the register and starts yelling at me about me asking her about the registers not working and me just standing at the front to pay for my purchase. He tells me don't talk to her like that. I'm like look how she talking to me. I'm a customer just trying to pay for my stuff. He proceeded to then attack me. He punches me and all I could do was grab him and try to stop him. He would not stop even tho people were yelling for him to and pushed me outside the store into a STEEL FENCE on my back which the fence then CAVED IN. Finally another employee came out and got him off of me. I was horrified. I called the police who came and asked them for video of the incident. All of the employees said they didn't have access to it only corporate does. The manager Charlene and John Bowlings both lied and didn't tell the truth so the police had no choice and could not arrest him. My new Gucci glasses were destroyed along with me missing one of my 1 carat diamond earrings which came out during to attack. I called corporate right then and there right in front of the police. I spoke with someone who said the district manager would call me back. I was then told by the police that this autozone have allot of problems and I shouldn't shop here because of it. Later in the day after many calls By me and my wife I finally spoke to the district manager Carmen who said I would hear back from him about replacing my things and the employee getting fired however it's two weeks later and no response from him or anyone. I'm sure the employee is still working there. Ready to attack another customer and the manager also still not turning the registers on so people can purchase their items when the store is open. My back is messed up from being thrown into the metal fence. I have scratches and bruises and a fractured finger from just going to autozone and getting attacked by their employee. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO GO TO THIS OR ANY OF AUTOZONE STORES. Management should care and look into problems in stores especially when customers are getting attacked by staff. I am sure the videos have been viewed by now and they have saw he attacked me. I guess this is normal in there stores hence they never responded back. I will be following up with legal counsel now since I have got nowhere.
