You can, if you want, grab a beverage while you wait. The interior is small and they have an exterior seating area that also isn't too large but both the inside and outside seating are very nice. The menu has good selections and a variety of ways that the fish can be prepared. The food is very good - everything we had everyone really enjoyed. The wait staff is fantastic, friendly, funny and makes great recommendations. We'd all recommend Twisted Lobster even with the wait.

We started with the Boom Boom grouper bites and they were pretty good -- crispy, flavorful, and a great appetizer to share. I also had a cup of the clam chowder and it was amazing. Super creamy, really flavorful, and loaded with clams. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal. For my entrée I had the lobster with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The lobster itself was good, just not the best I've ever had and a little on the tougher side. The mashed potatoes, however, were incredible and tasted totally homemade -- easily the best part of the plate. The broccoli was simple but good. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with great chowder, tasty appetizers, and standout mashed potatoes. If you're in the area and don't mind a short wait at a smaller spot, it's definitely worth checking out.

Plus you can drive up in your dingy or boat. But the real reason you come here is the food. There is always a special or other great item to choose from. Plus if you search they have coupons for free fries or such. My pick this day was the blacken snapper, macaronis salad, green salad plus onion rings. My only issue as with ALL eatery in SWFL restaurants they NEVER make it spicy enough for me. (Floridian are just wimps when it comes to spice.) AAhhh but my meal was great. Snapper cooked to perfection. Moist and with flavor. Never a bad special here. Macaroni nice ...excellent green salad.Onion rings very crispy. Service attentive & quick. Every where you turn a television.

The bartender was really friendly and personable and she was very helpful with my questions. I asked to try their Creamy Cucumber Wasabi Dressing that goes in their Ahi Tuna Wrap and she brought me a taste of it. It was pretty good, but I decided to order their Goat Cheese And Bacon Balsamic Flatbread, which was pretty good (next time I want to try the Ahi Tuna Wrap). Overall, neat little spot.
