We enjoyed this little café. The food was delicious. Note: breakfast is not served after 10 AM. read more

Advada's Café - BLT and strawberry cheesecake - Cafes Near Me - Carlisle, Arkansas

A can't miss local jewel on the I-40 and US 70 corridor in eastern Arkansas. Talk about down home welcoming vibe--everything is positive, from relaxed but totally clean setting to the table talk. Clearly a local place but open to everyone. Food is prepared fresh, it's tasty and filling. Indeed among the best patty melts I have had anywhere in the nation. Fresh hand-made patties--cooked just right with a perfect amount of grilled onions. Homemade desserts too--the heath bar sheet cake was outstanding. You serve your own drinks--solid iced tea. My only complaint--they were out of tater tots and the crinkle fries were not consistently crisp. Lots of parking, for whatever you are driving. read more

Some friends and I stopped in for a burger and fries. Excellent food, friendly staff, laid back atmosphere. I have been eating here for years. I do miss the buffet line from the pre Covid days. Nevertheless, still love this place! read more

From the moment Tracy Ward spotted my husband's Hickory sweatshirt and they began swapping favorite lines from Hoosiers, I knew this was going to be our kind of place! We were just looking for coffee but found so much more. They were setting up for a lunch buffet--Monday's feature is meatloaf that looked and smelled scrumptious. We shared a big piece of bread pudding that was a still warm from the oven. When you come here, you are welcomed into the community. read more

Super clean, very friendly, delicious home cooked vittles. Lots of memorabilia on walls; like stepping way back in time. Great expierence.

We found this hidden gem on our long road trip. They make most everything from scratch and made to order. I'm gluten free so I had hash-browns, eggs and bacon. So thankful to have found this! read more

Small diner/cafe serving up southern specialties. I'll put Advada's biscuits and gravy up against any place in the country. If you want great food and a pleasant dining experience, stop by! read more

If you hadn't tried this little out-of-the-way place for breakfast or lunch, do your taste buds a big favor and find it!! Just had probably the best breakfast of eggs over medium, bacon and pancakes ever. Not easy to find, cash only and will be back at every chance I get. Good job Advada's!! read more

Great food with a super friendly staff! Highly recommend this family owned business. Very clean with a good ambiance.

Hungry for breakfast after being on the road since 4am, we made a leap for this hole in the wall place. It was WELL worth it. 2 breakfast buffets that came with a tea for only $9/each! Homemade biscuits and pancakes that were hearty and made right. Crisp bacon and a small variety of meats. FRIENDLY service in an environment where it seemed like everyone knew everyone else. We will be happy to return when traveling through the area. read more

This place is amazing! Delicious food, fantastically friendly people, and the decor is really cool. We were just passing through on I40 and wanted something better than gas stations have to offer. So I found this place on yelp & wow! It's perfect. It's a little hard to find, but totally worth it! read more

Went there for lunch, typical diner fare with decent prices. They also have weekly buffet choices. Had the buffet with all the home style sides like sweet yams and yeast rolls. Entrees were smoked quarter chickens and a creamy chicken veggie pasta Burgers looks good and decent sized. Will be back for one of those Only negative was cash only read more

Advada's Café - Cool little Diner, hard to tell what it is from outside - Cafes Near Me - Carlisle, Arkansas

Advada's Diner in Carlisle, Arkansas, was a wonderful discovery. Down a side street and a bit out of the way, it looks like a big barn that's been renovated to feed the locals. But let me tell you, THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK! Monday thru Friday, they open at 5:30 a.m. and close at 2:00 p.m., and Saturdays they are open from 8 a.m. - 12 noon (serving brunch only on Saturdays or so says the cutie behind the counter). They have a hot food bar with one main meat that varies daily and plenty of hot veggie sides with melt-in-your-mouth yeast rolls. Everything was flavorful, the iced tea was nice and dark and rich without being bitter. The desserts are to die for and the decor of diner tables, chairs, signs, auto tags and more are as warm and welcoming as the people behind the counter. In addition to the great buffet, they also have numerous items made-to-order from the grill. It's a slice of old-fashioned Americana...but come for the tastes and experience, because it isn't for those dieting. Indulge, it's yummy! read more

Really really great food, great price and very clean and friendly environment. Would definitely recommend this place to the others

Creative decor and super great food. Good home cooking; the kind that sticks to your ribs. I love that aside from the main menu, which has lots of choices, they do a different buffet special each day. Both the breakfast and lunch menus are very delicious. You won't be disappointed. The only complaint is they're not open at night for dinner. read more

Not to far off the beaten path in Carlisle. Excellent breakfast. Great atmosphere price is right. Cash only. Will definitely come again.

I travel through this area regularly for work. I'm always looking for good local places to eat. Advadas fits the bill. They have a basic menu but it's good. I was greeted like a regular customer. I got a chicken sandwich and onion rings; it was more than I could eat. I will be back! read more

From the wonderful weekend breakfasts to the lunches you can't wait for Advada's is the place to eat! You will not find better food anywhere and the service is outstanding! (There just aren't many nicer people in this world!). If you haven't eaten at Advada's, then you haven't really eaten! read more

I give it 5 stars because it's the perfect out of the way country diner. It's kinda non descript. It's in one of a few barn like buildings next to farm land. The interior however is colorfully decorated and the establishment is one of the cleanest I have ever seen. CONS: Cash only If you want good coffee - the coffee is standard. No espresso lattes here. You can tell that the usual patrons are very local, Caucasian and God fearing; if you're anything but, then you will be noticed upon walking in. However, you should be fine. read more

As we traveled along I-40, we were looking for something different to try for lunch. The name Advada's just seemed to catch me attention. The parking lot was full, which is always a good sign. The staff were very friendly. The day we were there, I think we were the only ones that weren't locals. They didn't have order numbers or anything, so my wife asked how they'd find us. The lady at the register said, "I'll just tell them to look for the new faces!" Anyway, we got our food - it was all nice and hot - and delicious!!! My son ordered the burger and he said that it was likely the best one he ever had. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with plenty of RT 66 memorabilia. The prices were very reasonable, too! We all agreed we'd be back there as soon as we get anywhere near the area. Very good place - check it out!!! read more
