    Mission statement

Avada's is a gem that is easy to find off the I40. We had been driving for two hours and desperately needed breakfast. The cafe is open from 5 am to 2 pm- perfect! Good parking, clean restrooms, comfortable seating, quick and courteous service and delicious food at an affordable price! Perfect!

Oh my goodness! What a gem off of the I-40 highway. Advada's is the cutest cafe I've been to in ages. We stopped and had breakfast which was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was friendly, restaurant was super clean and well organized. Just take the short drive in town to find it. You will not be disappointed!

Warm bread pudding and favorite lines from Hoosiers.

From the moment Tracy Ward spotted my husband's Hickory sweatshirt and they began swapping favorite lines from Hoosiers, I knew this was going to be our kind of place! We were just looking for coffee but found so much more. They were setting up for a lunch buffet--Monday's feature is meatloaf that looked and smelled scrumptious. We shared a big piece of bread pudding that was a still warm from the oven. When you come here, you are welcomed into the community.

Stopped on our way to Texarkana at my friends old favorite place In Carlisle. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger platter with onion rings and a sweet tea. This was the best burger I've had in a long time thank you!!

Cool little Diner, hard to tell what it is from outside

Went there for lunch, typical diner fare with decent prices. They also have weekly buffet choices. Had the buffet with all the home style sides like sweet yams and yeast rolls. Entrees were smoked quarter chickens and a creamy chicken veggie pasta Burgers looks good and decent sized. Will be back for one of those Only negative was cash only

It's this little gem of a coffee shop that's pretty much a community hub in the middle of, well, not a lot else. But that's part of the charm! They serve up some truly fantasticespresso drinks--think rich, bold, and smooth, none of that burnt bitterness you find in chain spots. Their beans are locally roasted, and if you're into pour-overs, you'll be in heaven. But what really makes Holy Grounds special is the vibe. It's got this cozy, rustic interior with repurposed wood furniture, handwritten chalk menus, and locals who actually say "Good morning" like they mean it. It was busy and I felt rushed ordering only by the customers though. The cashier was helpful with our choice of what to order and amiable. My husband and I love cold brew coffee so we both ordered cold brews and we had them with a splash of mocha and vanilla sweet cream. I wish we would have ordered a pastry for the road but we weren't hungry. I'm eyeballing the honey almond bostock Next time hungry or not we're getting some. They look delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy but as a person just driving through it appeared a tad cliquey and hipster! Maybe I'm wrong. I'm still going in to get our cold brews when we drive through again though Keep up the astounding work!

Ordered the vanilla iced latte with oatmeal, topo Chico and a turkey sandwich! I love a good vanilla latte iced w/ oatmeal and this was not it! Kinda disappointed bc it's such a popular place and was expecting it to be the best. Maybe it was the ratio of coffee to milk. It wasn't terrible but wasn't the best. It felt like it was missing something. The sandwich was amazing! It was flavorful. Would definitely try more of their breakfast items! Love that there is a water station and can self serve.
