Sirloin and shrimp with fried rice

This place is so entertaining! Honestly a bit expensive compared to most other comparable places, but totally worth it for the show. The chef is funny, the atmosphere is homey, he is very interactive and full of humor. I've been a few times now and always ask for extra spicy on everything. He probably thinks I'm nuts, but that is okay. Definitely glad to have this option so close to my home.

We tried this after a friend recommended and we're so glad we did! The food is excellent and the service is very friendly and attentive. We loved the feel of the restaurant which is comforting and peaceful, full of forest themed decor and happy images. It's a great place to bring your kids or a date. Spring rolls and crab rangoon appetizers were very good and well presented. The jasmine green tea was very good, too. The open grill and chef were top notch. We had garlic fried rice with teriyaki and sesame chicken with sautéed vegetables. These dishes were 10/10 outstanding! Very delicious and perfectly seasoned and well prepared. We're planning to bring extended family here, perhaps next weekend to try some more of their dishes. Wish I'd taken pics of the main dishes, but it was so good we couldn't stop eating when it came out!

I only ordered the fried rice and it was too oily for my taste. I would not order it again. Service was good.

Amazing Hibachi and Rice. Small friendly atmosphere and beers aren't terribly expensive! My go to Hibachi place!

We came in as a party of five at 8:30pm, fully aware they close at 9. We ordered quickly and respectfully, excited to enjoy one of my favorite dishes: the chicken katsu. I've raved about it to friends, especially the generous portions--normally two large, pounded-out chicken breasts per order. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a bibimbap, 10 wings, a roll, gyoza, a child's katsu, tempura and two chicken katsu meals (close to $20 each). For our katsus instead of full portions, it was obvious the kitchen split one order between both plates--then handed the scraps to the child's meal, which we were told would be "half" an adult size. It wasn't even close. Not only was the portion insulting, but the food wasn't fresh. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and hard as a rock. I couldn't even bite through one piece--I had to spit it out. When we brought it up, they offered 10% off. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. I had just convinced people to come here based on how good this meal used to be, and instead I ended up apologizing to my guests for bringing them here and still paid for meals we weren't fully served. If you were low on chicken, in a rush to close, or just had a lazy cook that night--own it. Don't try to pass off a single meal as two. That's not just disappointing--it's dishonest. This experience was a joke. And if that's how regulars get treated, I will regular no more.

Sushiya - A lot larger than I expected--could definitely accommodate larger parties. Very slow for a Sat afternoon.

To be fair it was the weekend and we showed up with no reservation (not sure if reservations are a thing here), and had a bit of a wait. After we were seated, orders were taken quickly but food arrived with a bit of a delay. Being vegetarians sushi options were limited so we opted for fried rice and the noodles. Food itself was delicious, flavorful and filling. We also had plenty of leftovers. Staff seemed a bit inattentive, but the place was also packed and maybe the place is just understaffed... Recommend this place if you are in the Wichita area and looking for a decent place to grab some grub. Just be prepared for the wait times.

Hit sake and Spicy edamame to start were delicious. I had the Sapporo roll and the Coconut Shrimp roll. Plenty of food. I was stuffed and happy. Everything tasted great. Service was friendly and efficient. Out the door the bill was $57. A little steep but I treated myself. Inside the restaurant is not glamorous but it's nice. Plenty of tables and banquettes. Sushi bar seating for about 10 is also available. It seems clean and typical for this tier of restaurant. I'd come here again. Super close to the Marriott Wichita and some of the east side hotels.

Bam bam chicken was good but next time we will get the extra chicken for the up charge as the portion was slightly small. The tofu is fried really well! I loved the drunken noodles and would get them again. The spicy basil beef was also flavorful and fried up in a good crispy kind of way. I loved the spicy chili oil, so worth the $.50 cent charge. Service: 5/5 The customer service was good. They even checked in after bringing our food to the table. It's a weird mix of fast casual and sit down. Not sure what to make of it but they seem to care. Ambience: 3/5 The fixtures and some of the plants were dusty. It is a pet peeve of mine to keep dust to a minimum, as that is basically human skin that is just floating around and could end up on my food. Other than that and the floor not being too clean the place lacks a certain polish and could be a little nicer. There was just a few thing that were out of place, it made it feel like maybe there was some deferred maintenance that should be addressed.
