Needed mold remediation, found them through Angie's List. A guy Javier came out and i explained the situation for the request and asked for an estimate invoice. I was told that they could not at the time. (First red flag) He took a few pictures and said they would have a mold tech come take test samples. I did explain that i did have an insurance and a claim put in so he collected that information and insured me not to worry because they will be taking care of everything with the insurance company. I clearly stated that "i did not want work started until you get the green-light from the insurance company." The next day the mold tester came and took samples. The day after i was contacted and told the tests came back positive and the insurance company gave them the ok to do work. The workers came out and started to do the clearing out and sectioning off the rooms. The next day they cut my drywalls, carpet, and threw out the debris then proceeded to place the machines in each of the rooms. They left the machines in the rooms for 4 days and then removed them after. A few days later i received a message from the insurance company stating that the claim was denied (red flag 2). Was strange since i already had one open and funded. When i called the insurance company i was told someone tried to open another claim and they tried to bill them $23,000!! (Red flag 3). I then received an email from All Dry USA stating that the claim was denied by the insurance company and now I'm responsible for the payment. I questioned i thought everything cleared through the insurance company before you started? With no clear response they claimed sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I told them I'm not going to pay that because they told me the insurance company ok'd it and all they could say is that "you signed the agreement." I called the insurance company to find out what happened and they told me All Dry tried to bill them $23,000 plus they never sent the mold results before they started work. Fast forward 8 months my public adjuster can't get an email from them showing they followed the process with the insurance company and not trying to budge from the bill amount. So I used this company to install a French drain a little less than 2 years ago.. everything was fine up until 3 weeks ago when we had some bad rain, and the drain backed up and caused some flooding. We called them up to come and check things out. When the guy got there, he almost seemed clueless. When he left he said they would come snake the drain to see if something was clogging it.. That was over 3 weeks ago, and despite 3-4 phone calls( with the promise of a callback each time), I am giving up.. The stress & Anxiety of being flooded out is Crazy! You need to find someone reliable & knowledgeable. I have some good & bad things to say about this company, They were both knowledgeable & reliable. I feel my rating is not bad or fabulous either. As we feel about them. We agreed upon a price & work started the next day. They knew our concerns of being ripped off so they agreed to collect a check from us at start day. That was awesome. Thank you! We handed a check while crew waited to start. They started. Very nice hardworking/caring men started bringing our home back to the first phase-Tear our. Unfortunately mold had started setting in as we waited to find a contractor. We were given the run around by others but not ADU. Tear out commensed for about 6-8 days. During that time not all workers were wearing protective coverings. How terrible that is to not make standardized rules & make employees follow hazardous guidelines! Protect your people! At the time they were tearing out we received a visit from FEMA to help us out where they would where insurance wouldn't help for lodging as our home was unlivable. The FEMA lady came in to note the damage. While inside my home to view & notate the damage I had to ask ADU crew to stop working with loud tools/machines for one quick minute so I could talk with FEMA. The crew chief refused & said we needed to get out?? I refused to get out of MY home & continued with FEMA. After FEMA left I had to confront the ADU worker & remind him he was in MY HOUSE & I had to secure our living arrangements for the next several months & that I refused to deal with his Disrespect ! He apologized but said FEMA has strict guidelines for workers to work in an unsafe environment & his crew was not following protocol & he didn't want to get caught! I told him it was shameful that is how they conduct business & their lack of safety or refusal to wear protective coverings was on them not me. And they should enforce the law. It fell on deaf ears with many employees. But others wore protective suits, masks & gloves. During the tear out process then disinfecting we felt confident with the work. The drywall was torn out 4 feet & wood studs exposed Everything that needed to be torn out & disinfected was. Drywall, doors, cabinets, floors, floor & door molding, appliances etc. Next step was to put large equipment in to dry out, dehumidify & disinfect home for 72 hours. After that they were to come in & paint all existing exposed wood wall studs with kiltz paint to build a barrier for any returning growth. We were shocked when the employee came with just 2 spray cans of kiltz!! That was NOT enough. We had purchased a gallon & went around ourselves after and repainted all wood 4 feet up. Not happy with that phase! And a hygienist was supposed to come in to do a final inspection but that never happened. They said it did? No mold found. The job was finally done. We received a call from the office & they said oh do you have insurance. We said yes. They asked if they could contact our insurance company to submit claim. We said of course, our insurance said any questions let us know. So 10-12 days go by & we get an email copy of the remediation claim sent to our insurance company existing of over 30 pages!! And a claim submitted for almost 4 times our agreed signed contract price! What?? Our insurance company gladly went over their 30 pages & refused 90% of their breakdown as we had a signed contract Already including those items. And many did not apply they were charging for(ie moving out wet furniture etc-we did that weeks prior to them starting) After a few emails & conversations with ADU accounting dept, and letting them know this is fraud & our insurance refused sending us more $$ for remediation, they came back stating oh we submitted the incorrect form & your balance of signed agreed upon contract is due. I find that entire situation very fishy!! I do believe in my mind that they hope to get more $$ from insurance so keep an eye on that! What they must not know is insurance companies do Not pay contractors direct! Insurance companies can't & won't recommend a contractor. Insurance companies will Only cut a check to homeowner. So when hiring a company such as ADU who Does do the work contracted & in a timely manor please make sure you have a signed contract & know your insurance company is there to follow guidelines & protect its customers. We met some wonderful hardworking men who took pride in helping us at our time of need. We can't thank them enough! For example billing insurance for appx 32K $ for replacing a roof. A roof of appx 2000 square foot on a house valued at about 40K. The eventually acknowledged that it would be around 8 thousand. They submitted multiple charges for mold mitigation on rooms that were no even touched. Beyond bad. My parents are an elderly couple living in Florida. They had some water damage from a minor plumbing leak. In the time it took to get this done, 2 months, I could have built them a new house!!!!!! As each week passed they would be give me parents new promises of a completion date but all the promised were broken. My parents, with very limited funds accrued a large hotel bill and my mothers health suffered as a result. I called on their behalf and was also given a crazy excuse that they were waiting for parts. Finally the work was done and I inspected the home only to find many issues such as the shower doors off the hinges and the shower assembly fell apart. i got new shower head for them at home depot and installed it in minutes. This has been an absolute nightmare getting a quote - regarding mitigation after Hurricane IDA. All Dry preferably only wants to work with insurance companies, so when individuals attempt to pay out of pocket - they budge. Therefore, after taking time off to meet the adjuster (20 days after initial contact) an additional 2 weeks past and I still had not received the written proposal. Therefore, I went to the BBB and filed a complaint. Absolute disaster ! Project Manager Ross was absolutely clueless. Tile contractors trying to repair the shower had never installed tile before. Flooring contractors were then asked to replace our custom made, built in closets will sheets of melamine from Lowes that they were cutting with a skill saw with a dull blade, and "L" brackets to fix it to the walls and floors. I called to complain, Supervisor Andre came around with another guy Clark. Could not believe what they were looking at, instructed the flooring/closet guys to take down everything they had done. Promise to have a tile team and closet team with parts to sort this out. Supposed to be here this morning. Tile guys were absolutely great, had to tear down everything the first guys did, could not even fix it, it was so bad. No-one turned up to do the closets, just as well as the Andre promised closet parts did not arrive either. The tile guys have run out of tile as the first guys broke so much of it and none of the Ross, Andre or Clark promised tile arrived ! Called Andre 3 times, no answer, left 3 messages, no call back. Called Clark, no answer and his VM is full so could not leave a message. Spoke to Ruby in the office, very helpful and apologetic, and told me Andre called her and said the tile guys with no tile are going to build the built in closets with no parts, tomorrow. Speechless and warning DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! If you are just using this company for water mitigation, then they will do a good job and communicate with you quickly. Whatever you do, do not hire them to repair anything. They have terrible customer service. Every time we called to speak to them about the work being done on our home, they would be unavailable to speak to us or not know the answers. Half the time they would say they would call us back and then never do so. Sometimes they would argue with us over what work had and had not been done in our home. They refused to give us the project managers name or information. They would not show up when they said they would be there and then show up at the house unannounced. We could continue with a list of your employees but with the names provided none of them including the ones who no longer work the company have been worth even the recommendation your company came with. Going as far as reaching out to you on LinkedIn and whomever else can be contacted via this app should not even have to be an option for ANY customer. Keep in mind this is our first encounter and will certainly be the last once all work is completed and there is no reason we should be treated as such. As if the non communication has not slapped us in the face enough NO ONE came out to even CHECK the tarp after days of heavy rain fall or months of being taped on the inside of our home. From the bees in our home to now Water INSIDE of the openings in our home. Someone preferably you as Dalton who is the ONLY person to properly communicate must be tired of coming up with excuses after excuses from your employees. My experience will All Dry USA declined rapidly once recon started after mold remediation. June 2018 they were recommended to be by my roofing company for mold remediation. They were quick in responding, fast in sending someone out and I was nothing short of 100% satisfied. Then, months pass, they were waiting for a recon budget from my insurance company and in the mix of that, my roofer failed to dry in my new roof and flooded the house a second time, so after already working with All Dry USA on the 2017 claim, we kept them for the 2018 claim damage the roofer caused. They were quick and efficient again on mold remediation. At this point, our house is 90% under construction, mostly gutted and we relocated and moved out October 2018 so they could begin recon. This is when all hell broke loose. Kamy and Alex were in charge of my claim, I have nothing but good things to say about Alex (until now, he doesn't even have the decency to take my calls, tells the office girl that it's out of his hands), Kamy on the other hand, talks out of his ass and in circles. Can't trust a word this man says. He is a liar and I refuse to speak with him. I was told we would have movers come in and wrap and move furniture and belongings into the pod they delivered...that didn't happen. Recon crew comes in, they wrap nothing, shuffle everything around...I have broken and damaged furniture and all my belongings just piled outside in my screened in patio, exposed to all the Florida elements. They pulled my commercial frig out to remove the flooring and left it unplugged and it leaked all underneath the cabinets. I was instructed that Alex would "drive a check" out to me the next day for content reimbursement and they would clean and remove all the food from the frig, nothing has been reimbursed. Instead, they plugged it back in and refroze all the melted ice cream and meat juices. It was a week later that they threw everything away. It has been 3+ weeks since that incident and the smell in the frig is so bad, I wouldn't dare put any food back into it. All of my children's toys and belongs, along with every other belonging in the house is covered in drywall dust. The house has been "done" for 2 weeks now and it is terrible. Floor is broken, they came back and fixed one room flooring because under the laminate flooring was a 9/16 bolt that they just laid it over. Won't fix the living room flooring because "my couch will cover it" and "they will have to remove all the flooring to fix it". The corner is cracked and the piece has a significant gap, a few vacuum and mops and it will lift up right there. My bedroom furniture is destroyed. They used my nightstands as ladders, they moved my bed with all the contents of our closets piled on top and broke the hardware so the foot board separated from the side board and split the wood. Their fix for that was to screw it and wood glue it. It's quite rigged together now. They lost all the hardware for the blinds, those are all sitting outside in the patio too. Central vacuum covers are missing the screws and broken and are 1/4" from the wall, aren't even installed, nothing holding them there. The did a total gut on our guest bathroom and the shower tile and grout is so bad that it has cracked and will allow water to get behind the tile. They drilled holes in the tile to hang the glass doors and drilled them too high, so instead of replacing that tile, they stuffed it with putty. The shower window has a 1/4" gap where water can enter the window sill and go into the wall. The guy they sent out said, :I don't know how to fix that" and left. The list goes on and on....If anyone chooses to do business with this company, just know that you are warned that there is ZERO communication among the employees and the ones sent out to work in the field, will tell you how much the company lacks communication and when you bring it up to management they basically call you a liar. Between my 2 claims, the billing department at All Dry couldn't get the correct scope of work invoiced properly, so when my insurance company gave them the amount they would pay for each claim, the billing department was too ignorant to figure out they were double billing, etc. and my insurance company was just going to send the payments for the claim and then allow them to work it out with a supplement, but All Dry just jumped the gun and filed lawsuit against the insurance company. It's an absolute joke how this company runs this business. I've seen the bills they sent my insurance company, they are raping them and claiming things that aren't done. It's actually a pleasure they are suing the insurance company because the proof I have against them will prove that they are straight insurance fraud. We had some mold on the ceiling from a roof leak- and the team came in and removed all the damaged drywall. Afterwards they sent a tech and tested to make sure it was clear. Once clear a separate team (we had a little miscommunication on this part- these are 2 different jobs) came and repaired the hole. The both teams arrived on time and were finished on time. Very professional and made sure they contained the area while working- really thorough covering the floor, furniture, the whole job. Do not use this company for anything. I am a widowed, disabled, senior citizen who has been recovering from a severe broken ankle since June 3, 2018. I hobble around my home with a cane. In FEBRUARY 2019 I discovered water on my wood floor in my master bedroom closet. I called All Dry because I saw an ad for them in my local paper. Woman owned company, BBB endorsed bla bla bla. They discoverd a hole in the pipes behind the wall in my shower. It had caused a lot of damage - unseen until they took the walls down- mold, rot, etc. They draped off 1/2 my house with plastic and ran drying fans 24 hours a day - loud , hot, and increased electirc use. They applied mold killing agents which smelled horribly.They even put up bio hazard signs. They took walls down , ripped out the entire bathroom, moved all my furniture and prsonal effects into a huge heap in the middle of my home. They made an obstacle course of my house. It is now June 7. They have broken my toilet from over use ( up to 5 people a day in and out of my house ). They spend a lot of time on cells phones. They measured incorrectly ( remember from Home Ec class - measure twice cut once ), and the bathroom cabinet/vanity does not fit. Tthey painted around the picture hooks on my walls, and the color is different from the original ! I have had 4 project managers in the last 4 months. They keep getting fired. I have had it. They had no problem cashing the insurance check. Too bad for them ; his job must have huge cost overruns. I am furious. I have had to reschedule my physical therpay appointments, keep my 2 puppies in their cage , and I have had to live out of the guest bedroom/bath room. ( first world problem - I know ). I live NC and received roof damage from Hurricane Florence your crew came and completed my roof which they did an average job on the roof and sloppy work as well with neatness, clean up and prep besides damage to my siding and left a mess all around my home and they removed my gutters said they would be back to re-install them and never did they got debris inside my brand new $6000.00 heat pump never fixed fascia that need redone after they shingled left and open spot of drip edge. I more upset with the damage part and I attached pictures. So a Mr. Martin Light contacted me and sent a gentlemen out to look at the damaged areas and other areas of concern and that is the last I have heard from your company. I have emailed Mr. Light on 3 different occasions and have got no reply this started in Dec 2018 and it is April 2019 and still nothing. I would not recommend this company to roof my dog house after this experience. Since Dec I have had to take care of some of this myself, no way to run a company. read more

I had my barn roof sealed for leaks. I was given a price of $2,400, which was very high. I agreed since I wanted to go with a good company. Half way through the job, they wanted another $1,600 making a leak repair cost $4k. The repairs did not work and the roof kept leaking. I called several times and was ignored. After some rain storms later and new leaks caused by the repair, I continued to call. Was put off, ignored, more damage to roof occurred. I did not get any feed back. I tried to meet up with the roofing manager when he would come out to check the roof. He would come earlier than the set time so he could avoid me. I was over charged and told many times they had other jobs and could not get back to my place yet. They called me a liar, said I wanted a cheap job, they did a cheap job at a high dollar price. All I can say is, there were several occasions that this company acted in VERY shady ways, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. At one point, they tried to get my father, without my permission, to sign an assignment of ALL insurance benefits (not just insurance benefits related to the services being rendered), and told him he was simply signing a liability release allowing them to leave their equipment in our property overnight. I had All Dry out to repair a leak in my roof. They sent Will (who is supposedly the roofing manager) out to give us a quote, and told my husband that he could not doing the repairs right away because he was going to be out of town and suggested that we may have to out a tarp on the roof. They of course were going to charge to put the tarp on. We went ahead with the repair and paid $3800. We then had another leak not far from the first leak. I called and after a few times reaching out Will came out to see where the leak was coming from. He stated that his worker had not laid something done properly and he scheduled to have the leak repaired. This was not done properly, nor was the repair to the original leak. We had mold develop in the room and ALL Dry USA sent one of their people to inspect the area and she even stated that there was still moisture coming from the original leak. I tried contacting the office many times and they kept stating that we were told that we would need to replace the entire roof. I told them that all I am asking them to do was repair the original leak that I paid in full for or refund the money I paid since the work was never completed, I still have not heard back from anyone at the office. I have left messages and requested a call back from the owner to discuss this matter. I also spoke to Nicole who said she would email the owner and call me back which she still has not done. This is truly the worst company I have ever had to deal with. If I could give them a negative number I would. read more

All they had to do was replace the shower pan and re-tile the area. In the process, they ruined the wall paper on the walls, removed the side board tiles in the bedroom during dry-out and never put them back, destroyed the tiles in the bathroom and there are no replacements since they are antique so used the ones from the bedroom, but then I had to come up with another floorboard alternative to make up for that, put the shower door on backwards then put it back correctly but didn't seal the area and had to come back to do that, then after the entire shower was re-tiled, they had to REPLACE the shower pan that they had just installed because it still leaked, so they had to re-tile the floor of the shower again. They took liberties on what tile to use for the shower step up because they had destroyed what was there originally and when it looked awful, they agreed after the fact to get my input and they replaced that. But now I have to re-wallpaper the entire bathroom. That was the only thing I asked - "Be careful of the wallpaper. " Now it's ruined. And they wanted over $11,000 for that work, which took months. Also, they recommended a public adjuster (Ruben Calas of "Home Damage Adjusters") who was rude and unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM ALL DRY USA and anyone they recommend. read more

I had a shower pan fail, with no standing water and some moisture in the wall. They arrived with a sales person and supervisor on a Friday at 1:00pm. They installed two dehumidifiers using my drill and bit to drill the holes. They left an hour later and returned Monday morning at 9:00am to collect the two units. When the bill from the insurance company arrived, they billed for emergency weekend service. 4 men for 8 hours to clean up standing water. They also billed for multiple visits during the weekend which never occurred. They took multiple pictures of the same equipment and claimed triple the amount of equipment that was actually there. They charged over $5,000 to use two dehumidifiers for 1 weekend. The rest was blatant fraud. I advised the insurance company and they still paid it. I would never use All Dry! They are scam artists! read more

I recently had an issue whereas my AC drain clogged up causing water damage in my walls and floors. I contacted an insurance adjuster who came out and filed a claim. The adjusters then recommended All Dry USA restoration company to do the mold remediation. All Dry came out and performed the work and then billed the insurance company. The issue that I have with them is they OVERCHARGEd the heck out of the insurance company. According to my insurance company, the work they performed typically cost around $5,000 but All Dry billed my insurance company over $18000. That's not a typo, over $18000 for a two man crew for a day of work. After the insurance company sent me the itemized bill/invoice, I noticed that they inflated all the charges and over charged and made up bogus charges. The insurance company buckled and paid them and therefore reduced the amount that was due to me for the remainder of the repairs. Pretty sure I will repay upon renewal of my policy.
