The seller of the home I recently bought highly recommended this alarm company to me and I couldn't…read morebe happier. Initially I was going to have a American Defense System installed in my home. However when ADS came to the house they notified me that the alarm will be separate from the CCTV. That means that ADS could only provide me with the alarm but then I'd have to go to another company to have the CCTV cameras installed. With alarm Illinois I get to have my alarm and CCTV all with one company. I had Dave the owner of the company come by and he surveyed my home and gave recommendations on what he felt would best protect my home. He provided the quote the same day and a few days later sent someone to install the cameras. I like that with any issues when I call I am able to get a human being and also can have someone physically come out to fix any things that are wrong. I also like the apps that go with the alarm system I am able to see my home while I am at work I can see someone at the door at the front door the back door and in the alley. I also like that I'm able to arm and disarm the alarm through my telephone. The OnStar technology allows me to notify the police or firehouse if there is an emergency through speaking into the alarm. Seamless way to secure your home and the precious ones in it.

We inherited an Alarm Illinois system with our new home and kept the service, but we are canceling…read moreafter just two weeks. First, there is zero safety follow-through. We accidentally triggered our alarm multiple times for over 30 seconds, and they never once called to check if we were safe. Second, their customer service is incredibly slow; it took three calls just to get a quote to add new devices, and they still haven't helped us transfer our video surveillance. Finally, when we requested our contract, it was sent from the owner's personal Gmail account rather than a secure company email. When I called the owner, Sheila Haddad, to discuss these issues, she dismissed my concerns by boasting about having 20,000 customers and then hung up on me. Avoid this company if you value professional service and actual home security.

I've been wanting to get cameras at my home since moving here a bit over a year ago. I don't even…read moreremember how I stumbled upon 606 installs but it was lucky. Another company I had spoken with had quoted me more than twice the price, I guess because the cameras they use are fancy or something? I don't know, because the ones Ernesto installed are great and doing precisely what I wanted. When I was on my search for home security cameras, I kept mostly finding things like ADT, SimpliSafe, or something else that was largely about selling you the monitoring plan; the equipment I think was less expensive but then you're paying for the monitoring. I am not generally a fan of the everything-is-now-a-subscription-or-service thing nor do I want to be beholden to whatever rates a company decides to charge. Some of those also were self-install options, which didn't interest me at all. They hooked up several cameras at our home to provide various views, including the basement since I wanted to be able to see what's happening down there when I'm upstairs. The system has a hard drive that can support up to eight cameras. We can save photos, videos, and also play back to see what happened earlier in the recording on the various cameras. Although they could have provided a monitor, we don't really have a place for it so we simply have an app on our phone through which we can view the cameras. I'm not sure why, but I thought it would go much more quickly than it did. I have no frame of reference to know how long it should have taken so that's not a criticism. It took about six hours total but having it done well was the most important part. I would highly the crew at 606 installs for their professionalism, reasonable rate, and excellent work.

They came with contracts in hand ready for us to sign, I was just wanting a price at that point as I am not authorized to make those decisions for the company I am employed by. The tech made a 5 minute adjustment to our alarm system while he was here so the 2 key pads will link together so they didn't have to come back if we activated. He gave me a quote by email the next day for $400 in equipment we would need for the system to do what we need it to. I told them AT THIS TIME we were not interested in making that investment and activating services. I then got a bill for $75 for the 5 mins spent to link the two key pads when they came out to GIVE ME A QUOTE. I called Wire Wizard about the invoice and was told "fine, we will have them come out and undo what they did, just rip up the invoice then" and abruptly hung up on. We will NEVER activate now! What incredibly RUDE customer service!!!!
