TERRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY Most terrible company ever. I…read morebought a house that the previous owners had hawk security system. We decided that we didn't need it so we never signed up for their member ship. however all their gear and systems are still hooked up to the house, they didnt bother to come get it. The monitor in the wall would ring every other day or so and would ask for a code to stop it. I never even got any code from them and when I didnt sign up I imagined they would just turn everything off. That brings be to today, all of a sudden in the middle of the day the monitor powers the whole house with a fire alarm and wouldn't stop unless I put in the code. My six month old baby is screaming because it woke him up from a nap. I immediately call hawk security so they can help me turn it off, as it is their system that is doing it. the lady transfers me to support and no one ever answered after waiting for over 5 min. Meanwhile there is an alarm blasting through the whole house. I hang up and call again and the lady just starts telling me to unplug the monitor from the wall, I keep telling her there is no plug and she just keeps saying that there is. I explain to her that the wire is run through the wall. then she tells me in that case there should be a box plugged into the house somewhere, I explain to her there is not a box and that we barley have anything plugged in since we havent lived here very long and we havent been able to buy much furniture. She keeps speaking to me like im an idiot that there is a box plugged in somewhere and I just have to find it to get the system to stop. After looking through the whole house and not finding said box I ask her if they can send a tech out here to unplug the whole system, she said they only do that to people who pay. I ask her if I pay someone to come out to unplug it and she says they dont do that. She tells me she has other people on the line and has to go then just hangs up on me. I work in real estate and that is just not how you treat people especially if you're a company that provides a service. I ended up just cutting the system from the wall and creating a big hole in the drywall that now has to be repaired. I am still shocked at the way I was spoken to. If I could give zero stars I would. I have no words.

I have had hawk 360 for over 8 years. First issue I have is system battery. I call them they tell…read moreme fir them to come replace aka maintenance the battery it will be $69 fee plus $50 for the battery, and $75 per hour . So I replace this battery myself and was told if I break anything I was responsible for fixing it. Wow. 2nd issue now its telling the panel battery which you have to go inside the panel to get to it and the issue was called customer service. I call they tell me again they will come do the replacement for a fee but all I have to do is take the panel apart and order a 7.2 volt battery to replace. But they will charge me to come out and if anything goes wrong im responsible for paying to get fix. I going to find a company that im not just giving money too with no service. This is the 3rd strike. I pay to much for foolishness. Hawk 360 I would not refer NO one too. Take money and no service in return.

I already had a security system, but didn't want to lease cameras. Too much money spent over time…read morefor something that'll never be mine. I reached out to this company after reading reviews. I got a call back from Brian, who answered all my questions, and I decided to press forward. He hooked me up with Chase, the technician who'd do the install. Chase showed up for the initial assessment, and helped me make sense of camera placement, etc. When Chase showed up for the install, he was just as professional, and answered any additional questions I had. All I had to do was stay out of his way and let him work. He showed me everything I needed to know in terms of the camera app and made sure to walk with me to confirm camera views. A true professional. I had an issue with the software, and received an immediate callback from Dustin, who helped me clear up my issue. Really good experience so far all the way around.

***UPDATE*** Everything has been fixed, system is working…read morewell. Brett really did make things right. Unfortunately, they had a change with their team which negatively affected my experience. They worked with me to ensure I was satisfied, something you don't always see these days. Actually, I half expected them to write me off and cut my losses, thinking I could never be satisfied or something. The fact they stuck with me made me feel understood and trusted, so in return I feel I must do the same. They'll still get referrals from me, because I don't think those guys that screwed up my install work for them anymore. PS- if you can get Josh from Austin to do your install, I highly recommend!! I have had the WORST experience and DO NOT recommend this company. Feel free to tap my name and send me a private message, if you want to know more details. I can at least tell you who you don't want to deal with. This has been so frustrating, I'd hate for anyone else to have the same experience. All the other reviews seem a bit dated so maybe they have new people working because my experience was nowhere near consistent with the other 5-star reviews. The install started Saturday... yet two technicians and three in-home visits later... and one more "planned" for tomorrow... who knows when it will get done?! I honestly can't believe I'm paying for this. My home is less than 2 weeks old (brand new, just built) yet the technicians have managed to screw up my electrical wiring (no electricity to my master bedroom) and blew two transformers. The second blown transformer is why they've got to come out the fourth time. To top it off, the second technician committed to coming at 5:30pm but acts like it's an inconvenience and would rather come earlier. I get it, don't agree to it and have True Protection send someone else (don't accept the job). True Protection does not seem to care... gave me a free lock for my door - thanks, but this service still sucks! Brett said he is going to make this right with a third technician. Because of the nature of our operation, I was looking for high-quality equipment and overall service and was willing to pay to receive it. After reviewing.my needs with a handful of providers with good reviews, I chose Settler because my conversation with Nelson inspired confidence. As expected, I was pleased with all aspects of the process. What I did not expect, however, was that I would receive products and service that exceeded my lofty expectations at an extremely competitive price. Nelson was transparent throughout the process and helped me select high-quality equipment that met my specific needs while staying within my budget. I was also surprised by the level of operational support provided. Nelson showed me how to use all of the features, but he also set up a number of parameters in advance based on our original discussion without requiring further input. And that support did not stop once the products were installed and the final invoice issued. I am still receiving support on a regular basis. Anytime I have questions, answers are a quick phone call away. Finally, due to my own oversight, my were entirely unreasonable. Nevertheless, met them, and then some, installing my entire less than 48 hours after our initial conversation. I would not recommend asking that kind of turnaround of any provider on a complicated installation, but when I found myself in a bind, the Settler team bailed me out.
