Best cameras around and easiest user friendly app for the alarms!…read moreI have used the cameras for several years and love how I get notifications for line detection and can watch when my children arrive home from school, as well as package deliveries. The alarm app is also so neat how I can turn it off and on from my phone. We also have a door lock connected to the alarm system to allow entry if we are not home for anyone visiting and watching our pets.

The panel in my house died and the Vivint support guy that came to my house wanted my bill to go up 300% and me to pay $800 for a new panel. I told them to cancel. I thought we were done... Then I got a surprise "collection notice" in November. I spent 2 hours on the phone saying "cancel my service" and their only response was as "we can discount the service or give you free equipment". No, when I say cancel that is not an open negotiation. I had to open a BBB case and I have them finally agreeing to refund those charges. I would have been recommending Vivint before May...now I will never go back and want to warn everyone I can to stay away.

I understand that there are thousands of negative reviews, new ones added every day. They have figured out if they respond to the review with a question, they manage to stay in good standings with the BBB. They are very close to being a scam. Beware.
