I fell in love their work through various wedding blogs, and hired them to shoot our wedding that took place in August 2009. Dorothee shot our wedding and I can't believe how amazing out pictures are. Somehow she was able to be everywhere at once! My husband and I agreed that on the day of she was the perfect amount of "present" (guiding people, getting people together for group shots without being pushy, somehow always there the exact second I needed to talk to her) and "invisible" (she got a ton of great candid shots.) While she is only in Seattle part time, she still makes herself really available to answer questions, and is proactive about showing samples and figuring things out. Not only is she a fantastic photographer, but she's really sweet also. Just the sort of person you would want at your wedding. We didn't meet Garrett of Aderyn until the morning of the wedding, and that didn't present a problem. Garrett is incredibly responsible/reliable, very organized, well-prepared, talented, experienced, a clear communicator, and a good listener. Based on email exchanges and one or two phone calls, Garrett got a good feeling for what we wanted and delivered in spades. I've been to weddings where the videographers were obvious and super distracting and clunky with their lights, equipment, and filming. Besides speaking up a couple of appropriate times when they needed to collaborate with us, we barely noticed Aderyn was there, which was great because it let us focus on each other and our loved ones. Aderyn truly did a fantastic job with everything: capturing the emotional moments and the highlights, presenting the day from different angles and points of view so that it felt like a whole, multi-layered story, and top-notch post-production editing. Aderyn was able to capture and relay the intangible parts of that amazing, happy, once-in-a-lifetime day and preserve it all for us. I hired Garrett from Aderyn as a VERY last-minute wedding videographer, and he really came through…read more I was trying to keep costs low since I squeezed this into our budget very late, but I wanted to have some kind of tricky audio stuff recorded for posterity. Garrett went out of the way to coordinate with my DJ and make sure all the systems were on track to record some slightly hard-to-capture moments. He also coordinated with my friend who is doing all the video editing work, and went out of his way to make sure his equipment and file type met her needs. Garrett was prompt, friendly, fun, and is even putting together a customized highlights clip as a bonus! He also sent me an MP3 of the song my composer friend had custom arranged, which he caught while our string trio was rehearsing -- it was a better-quality clip since you can actually hear it instead of just people clapping/yelling during the actual ceremony, so it's a really nice bonus for us to revisit. All in all, Aderyn was affordable, flexible, responsible, and showered us with little bonuses -- totally a great blend of exactly what we were looking for! She has been working with a mentor who is teaching her different techniques all the time. I just recently had Radiant Photo Booths at my wedding on July 12, 2014 and it was such a great…read moreexperience! We booked with Janette several months in advanced, and she was great about get into contact with me regularly to see how my own wedding planning was going and to give me updates. She was very easy to get a hold of which is highly appreciated, and she is just all around an extremely kind and friendly person, which just makes the wedding planning experience that much better. Everyone totally loved the photo booth at our wedding and couldn't stop talking about it. It fit a ton of people, the largest group photo we did had 11 people and you can see all of us! Janette brought a ton of great props that everyone loved, and she even surprised us and made some personalized ones which was great! She showed up several hours early which worked out perfectly. Our wedding was in Port Orchard which is at least an hour and a half drive away from Seattle, but it wasn't an issue. We had our ceremony and reception in the same location so I was a little worried that there might be some disruptions for the guests or for our ceremony, but that was a total non-issue, she was set up in plenty of time before our guests started to arrive. We had around 125 guests at our wedding and we went with the 3 hour package which was more than enough time for everyone that was interested in taking photos to do so. Janette sent me all of the electronic copies of the photos the day after the wedding which surprised me that she got them back to me so quickly! It's great to be able to post them on Facebook so all of the guests can look through and see their photos again, especially if someone in a group photo didn't get the copy for themselves. Overall we had an amazing experience with Janette and her lovely company. It made our wedding so special and I would recommend Radiant Photo Booths to anyone! It's a tremendous value and Janette is absolutely fabulous to work with!!!
