I told her about the issues I've been having and she was just very helpful and listened to everything I said or asked. The dentist Dr.Bains was also super nice. She came in checked everything out and explained everything in great detail and if I had any questions she answered them. She referred me to a surgeon and also gave me prices and dates for their surgeon. I will definitely be back !!!! honestly, i'll probably never be back to this hospital to deal with the staff in the emergency room…read moreor the day nurse i encountered on second floor again. i've experienced what i believe to be passive racism from techs, nurses and doctors. i'm not the person to leave reviews and i try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt however, after three years of coming to this hospital something has to give. due to the hospital staff disrespect and neglect of my care, i have left this place feeling like an angry black woman for wanting answers instead of a cured or to be cured patient. no matter the issue i walk into the ER with, i'm always told it's "normal". well how do you know if i've never gotten a palpation test and half of the time i didn't even see the ER nurse or doctors? the nurse my family member had brushed me off from the beginning so much to the point i'm writing this review. i felt uncomfortable from the moment she saw me and as if asking questions about my family members health was a burden. in this case i should've been told what to look out for in the coming week during discharge and instead i had to ask as she was walking out and she got a snappy tone, a goose neck and a nasty look. but if you just chew gum and ignore your patients questions and concerns, i will become assertive in getting answers. i suggest a bedside manner course or clearing house for your growing/changing population because it's kind of ridiculous. it's 2026, i shouldn't feel like i have to make myself small so that you're comfortable. actually, i've never been given the chance to be myself because i'm 100% labeled as soon as i walk in. in regards to the summit healthcare professionalism, special thank you to Dr Richardson DO and his MAs, Dr Bowen and HUC Charmaine of second floor for all treating me with dignity.

While they were unable to schedule my children before school starts, (my fault for waiting till the last minute) Lindsey did everything she could to help get the kids in on days and times that they wouldn't miss school. Garbage ER and garbage hospital. My dad was admitted yesterday for chest pains, they ran tests and…read moredid CT and DENIED an x-ray. His oxygen was in the 70s. Yesterday at 3pm they wanted to intubate him and put him into a medical coma because his oxygen was so low. My mom requested an x ray multiple times and told the nurse to note the chart that the hospital denied the x ray so that if anything happened it was ON THE HOSPITAL. They threatened to leave today and they finally got an x ray over 24 hours later and he has DOUBLE PNEUMONIA in both lungs!!!!!!! If he would have died and you wouldn't have done an x ray as requested we would have sued the shit out of your hospital. After that we requested to be transferred to the valley because of the severity and they denied that too and explained they would have to find a hospital to transfer care, present his case etc. bullshit. If your patient was asking for an x ray multiple times why was it denied? They have insurance and are willing to pay for said x ray. This hospital is a piece of shit and tried to kill my dad. Do not go here. Make the drive to the valley if you can because if your health gets worse they won't transport you. ZERO FUCKING STARS.
