Specialties
I train and teach classes at the YMCA and SNAP Fitness, both in Phoenixville. In addition to training at those gyms, I have private clients in Phoenixville and the surrounding areas. If you would like, I can train you in your home, at the gym, or even in a park, playground, or at a high school track.
I believe in a routine that is well rounded and fun with an emphasis on functional training, core training, and balance and stability exercises that will enable you to live a healthier and happier all around life. I also enjoy adapting all types of different training methods to develop a routine that is specific to your needs.
Many of my clients have physical challenges, some of which include: replaced knees and hips, Vertigo, Spastic Paraplegia, spinal pain and Osteoporosis. I also train older individuals looking to maintain their strength and mobility, and I have worked with teams to help them improve their performances in a specific sport.
History
Established in 2010.
I moved from Boston to Phoenixville, PA in May of 2009 and began personal training and teaching classes at various gyms in the summer of that year. I established my own personal training business last year to expand into in-home training and also to promote myself to a wider audience outside of the Phoenixville area.
Meet the Business Owner: Adam Marks M.
I have been an experienced fan of exercise and sports for my entire life, and now I am putting all of my knowledge into use by training individuals and groups in the Phoenixville and surrounding areas. I have a passion for getting people into great shape, helping them overcome injuries or muscle imbalances and giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals. My training sessions are based on the individual client, focusing on their wants and needs and giving them the widest variety of exercises so their bodies will never adapt to the workouts. Every person is different so therefore every workout has to be different as well.
Outside of my personal training business, I am a huge fan of sports, movies and hanging out with my wife and dog.
