We had a fantastic experience with Rapid Response Restoration. Last fall, we experienced an…read moreemergency plumbing failure that lead to our finished basement floor being dug up to conduct the repairs. Our insurance made us whole on the plumbing work, but fought us on restoring our basement back to its previous finished state. This is where Rapid Response came in. After reaching out to Rapid Response and hearing our situation, Daryl reassured us this is their speciality and they will work with our insurance. From there, Rapid Response took this nightmare off our hands and communicated clearly through the entire process. Daryl was on the case and received approval from insurance to replace our entire floor. Seth and team worked quickly and did a fantastic job. Becky and her guys arrived promptly every day to complete the work, kept us informed of the status of our project at all times, and caused minimal impact to our daily life. We were even able to easily maintain our work schedules while the repair work happened. We could not be more grateful we found Rapid Response. They truly lived up to their name and made what would otherwise have been a bear of a project into something much more manageable. Now, our finished basement looks beautiful, and we'll absolutely think of Rapid Response in the future when we need other home improvement or repair work done. Thanks, Rapid Response Team!

I did a little research and found Rapid Restoration through their numerous 5-star reviews on Yelp and other websites and reached out to Daryl and a few other companies to see what it would take to get our house back into shape. Right from the first moment on the phone I knew that Daryl and Rapid Restoration would be the company we would go with. He gave me a thorough education about the process and gave me helpful advice right from the first moment. His help over the phone was always clear and accurate. He set us on the right path immediately. Seth and his crew were in our house within 48 hours to do the mitigation and boy were they thorough. The floor was pulled up, the room was disinfected and dried. And all the while, Daryl and Seth made sure that we had the documentation and backup necessary to communicate with our homeowners insurance company. With the mitigation done, the crew came back a few weeks later to actually do the repairs and get our floors back to the condition they were in before. This was equally impressive. The workmanship was truly beautiful. Seth has a great eye for design and color. Everything matches and looks beautiful. Every transition and grade was thought through and installed with accuracy and quality. Overall, youhear about the nightmares of dealing with homeowners insurance. There was NONE OF THAT. The Rapid Restoration crew were so buttoned up and knowledgable that we had literally no conflict or pushback from our homeowners insurance company. If you've had a similar issue in your own home - don't even think about it. Just call Daryl and the Rapid Restoration crew. I recommend them WITHOUT RESERVATION.

I've traded voicemail messages with Roto Rooter representatives about my experience…read moreand would like to add the following: Pat responded to my review and elevated the matter to higher management. Given previous Yelp review comments, this was a pleasant surprise. RR Management responded to my VM message. Also, my review was apparently shared to a wider, yet selected, audience within the company to seek clarification. Demonstrating concern and seeking to learn from my experience was also surprising and, IMO, a very positive attribute of the company culture. Consequently, if I were to rate the organization based on management commitment to customer satisfaction only, I'd assign at least 4 stars. Readers: I've now written to Pat at Roto Rooter as requested to provide more details as requested. My plan is to update this review if needed. Thanks! Original review follows...... Clearing a slow toilet drain to a septic tank was successful. Cost $1,138.24. invoice 13-24864537 on 1/31/26. RR location on invoice-Baltimore, MD. Though NOT an emergency, we were grateful that RR was able to respond in 24 hours by providing a technician with truck and all equipment needed to do the job. Communication with the office on technician arrival status was very good. FYI - I first used a plunger and my own 23 ft power snake without any success. The technician claimed to have augured our system 100 feet and pulled some flushable wipes out of the line. This was puzzling as such wipes had not been used for over 3 years. These were not, apparently, the problem with our drain. Consequently, power auguring continued for over 5 hours with nothing else to show! We were told the drain to septic tank might have settled and/or become otherwise obstructed. Thus, it was recommended a separate camera inspection be done and for us to be prepared to pay for the basement floor to be jackhammered for access the problem and allow RR to lay another line. Estimated cost between $5k and $10k. We were surprised by the level of effort, duration, and cost to clear a toilet drain. Soon after this work by RR, the septic tank was pumped. This was routine service. No drainage blocks were detected. Our plan is to continue to be careful about what is disposed in the toilet and monitor for any slowness. And.........we'll start saving for the cost of a possible home excavation project. So service was prompt and clean. The price was unexpectedly high, and we remain concerned about future problems.

FYI - it appears from other comments that roto rooters standard response is to say they can't find your service record which is ridiculous - they absolutely did service my drain this week on Monday.
