Worst new account experience. It's been over two weeks and I still don't have my debit card. My deposits take a ridiculous amount of time to post to my account, and today I called and went to a branch and my Saturday deposit couldn't even be found until they spent 5 minutes investigating- even though it showed 'accepted' on my mobile app. Seriously considering opening an account elsewhere and moving everything over. read more

Crappy bank. Slow, staff lacks the necessary knowledge to adequately serve the needs of their customers, seems like nothing gets done here. They closed my account because I called about when I was getting my debit card to many times. I mean, it shouldn't take a month. Two weeks was what they told me. I also wasn't called or emailed about that until two days of being locked out my account had gone by. God only knows how long til I get the money that was in my account. It's truly disappointing that Adirondack bank remains in business. They are absolutely terrible and I would only recommend their services to someone who truly hates themselves enough to deal with what is a ton of BS. read more

I had ordered a replacement card over a week ago. I stopped into this branch office the day after I ordered it and the lady I spoke with told me that I was going to be mailed the following day. Today (more than a week later), I still haven't received it. So, I went to the Rome Branch where the lady told me that they still haven't mailed it. WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG?! My bills are past due, I haven't done any Christmas shopping, and I am leaving for a trip in 4 days. So, thanks Adirondack Bank for the terrible customer service and customer experience. I will be sure to let everyone I know what a awful bank you are. read more

Excellent employees and customer service (when they're open). Average banking options and account features. Very poor online banking service, website has awkward navigation. Seems very outdated. read more
