No fee checking accounts and conservative rates for savings accounts are the norm. Friendly and helpful tellers and advisors are always available to assist if they can. The biggest thing Americu has going for it, in my opinion, is their vast network of ATMs sprinkled throughout the area. All Oneida Indian Nation owned SavOns have Americu ATMs in them, and the same goes for Nice N' Easy gas stations. And another huge benefit is their ATMs located at the branch itself. This particular branch has ATMs where you can withdrawl 5 dollar increments, you can deposit checks into your account, and you can also deposit cash into your account. All through the ATM.

It's a good thing, because every time I need human intervention, I always walk away less than satisfied. I've been a member of the credit union for over 30 years, but it is not my primary bank because customer service is NOT their strength. Convenience and cost are definite pluses, but really, the service everywhere else I bank is so much better.

I had a wonderful experience with two businesses at the same time, MetLife Home and Auto and…read moreWedgwood-Crane and Connolly. I want to acknowledge At WWC, I interacted with Jack Connolly and his daughter, Kim. Jack had a lovely demeanor, despite the fact that he was actually about to get urgent treatment for a broken tooth! When he handed me over to his daughter, Kim, and her lovely dog Scout, my experience only got better. Kim was a true joy to interact with and she wound up helping me find savings of over $600 a year, even though it meant I didn't go through a provider that Wedgwood-Crane and Connolly currently contracts with. She earned me money, she earned my trust, and she earned a loyal customer for my existing home policy and definitely more in the future. And if the lovely folks at Wedgwood-Crane and Connolly can see it in their hearts to partner with MetLife, I can even bring WWC my business for that account! A big and beautiful shout out to MetLife's truly terrific senior sales consultant, Rebecca Stanford, for her warm and generous demeanor and the true care she took to make sure I was served well. She found me over $600 in savings and created a loyal and grateful customer. Her way of being with people is a service to the company. She also heard about and acknowledged the kindness and integrity that Kim Connolly at Wedgwood-Crane showed and put the bug in my ear that she hopes MetLife can partner with Wedgwood-Crane and Connolly because a company and an employee who would look out for their customer in the way that Kim did for me is exactly the kind of company she knows MetLife would like to partner with. I would highly endorse each of these loves I worked with today and the businesses that they help shape.
