We contacted them over a weekend, through both the Erie website and the Tanner website. Later in the day on Monday we had heard nothing and placed a call. We were assured that Ashley had been assigned and was working on the quotes. On Tuesday I called to discuss details and to provide anything needed, only to be told that Ashley was out for the day. Tish said she would get right on it. A few email exchanges took place to clarify some things. Pictures were sent. Thursday - Called for a status report, only to be told that the request had to be forwarded to Cheyenne, a Commercial agent. Tish could not handle our request. Friday - Called Cheyenne in the morning to discuss our needs and after a few words, I suspected that Tish had not forwarded notes about our discussions. Or, Cheyenne never read them. At the end of the day I was told by email, that Erie would not insure us because one building had never been insured, and we had to replace the roof and siding on the other. Aluminum siding and Cedar shakes do not need to be replaced, and the roof was less than 10 years old. If the other building had never been insured, why would we even ask for a quote? After nearly a week, and three agents later we had no resolution. No Quotes! The agency never inspected the properties. Never asked for a Code Compliance Certificate. And, Cheyenne never asked pertinent questions. This company seems to have some serious organization issues! The initial request should have gone immediately to the Commercial agent and questions quickly resolved. This was a week wasted! We would not recommend them for any insurance needs.

Mr. Urciuoli, in my opinion, exhibited deplorable behavior during a routine status review meeting. With no intended provocation on my part, Mr. Urciuoli suddenly lost his composure, went into a tirade complete with profanity, threw me out of his office and told me to take my money with me. At one point, his behavior became so unruly that he lunged across the table and snatched back a pair of complimentary planner booklets and pens he had presented to me moments earlier. All of this discourse was within earshot of other employees, via an open conference room door. I know of nothing I did that could have triggered this outburst. When the incident occurred, my accounts, my life's savings, were immediately placed on inactive hold and no guidance was provided as to how I should proceed going forward. I was briskly ushered out the front door, seconds after the outburst subsided. I was forced to stop everything I was doing and to seek alternative financial assistance, at a very inopportune time for me. Closing multiple accounts proved quite expensive and the effort required on my part was significant. All of this was unanticipated; brought about instantly by Mr. Urciuoli's inexcusable outburst. The Certified Financial Planner Rules of Conduct and Code of Ethics expound on the virtues of dignity, professionalism and courtesy toward clients. I believe Mr. Urciuoli's behavior toward me fell far short of any and all professional standards.
