I've had auto coverage from Crowley for as long as I've been driving. When my wife and bought our house, we did our homeowner's through Crowley. They suggested combining my car with homeowners and asked about my wife's car. We had never put much thought into her insurance and she was on some generic internet policy. By switching her over to what Crowley set us up with, her rate dropped a lot (with better coverage), my rate dropped some and our homeowner's dropped from what was first quoted. If I recall correctly, the total savings created by her getting a policy through Crowley was more than what our homeowner's cost. Yup, it pretty much meant buy car insurance, get free homeowner's. Sweet! Dealing with them is great too. I hit a deer, called the next morning and the person that answered the phone is the one that helped me out. No hold, no uninformed people. Just nice, friendly people that know what they are doing. Gabriel answered all of my questions and immediately got to work on the forms that the insurance company requires. Oh and only a $200 deductible. Sweet! I've only called there a handful of times, but always a great interaction. I can't believe I'm writing a review for an insurance agency, kinda boring, I know, but they really deserve recognition for how great they are. Highly recommend.

Back in August I had contacted Sitka about car insurance as I was looking for something better than my current insurance. The gentleman who returned my call was very pleasant. As it was late in the afternoon and for another valid reason he asked if I would be alright guy with him calling me back toward the end of the week or first part of the following week. I was perfectly fine with this. Sadly I did not receive that call, and to be fair I just figured they couldn't do anything for me and didn't bother to call back. I do believe that the ball was in their court and it would have been a bit more professional to call and let me know if they could do anything for me.

Recently, I experienced some weather related damage to a shed. It was after hours, so I sent an email through the app, fully expecting I wouldn't receive an answer until the following day. Steve responded within a few minutes with the information he could provide from home and promised to follow up with more detail the following day. I really appreciated it, but was honestly surprised at how quickly he answered me at all. Then, he followed up with a 2nd email. He took the time to call in & find out the specifics about my policy & responded with the additional information. He wasn't selling me anything, he just went above and beyond because that's who he is. I have other similar stories, this is just the most recent. I use State Farm for my home, auto, life, & disability. For me, it's not worth shopping around for the lowest price, though I think my coverage & cost is comparable. I appreciate knowing I've got a team in my corner that knows who I am, knows my family, and is always ready to help. There aren't a lot of small businesses like that anymore. I was the victim of a hit and accident. A Progressive driver hit my brand new car sending it back…read more7 feet and drove off. I have witnesses and a clear picture of the truck and plate. We now have the registered drivers name, VIN, address, and plate number! Progressive has told my insurance company twice now that without the drivers insurance policy number ( like how am I going to get that it was a hit and run?) or dAte of birth which Indiana DMV will thus far not release ... Progressive states they have too many people insured under that name in Indiana to find it and have rejected the claim. You can't tell me with the name, registration, plate number and VIN they can't find this driver! They just don't want to pay! It is a crime to hit and run. My brand new car will now be worth thousands less on trade, I have to pay the $500 deductible on my collision. Progressive is criminal and dishonest. I am disgusted!

So unless you show all of your info they will raise your insurance nearly $300!! This company is garbage for so many reasons. Find a reputable insurance company and avoid Progressive at all costs or be prepared to give them all your personal information
