Dessert- chocolate mousse with condensed milk on top. --everything was delicious and I was very satisfied. Here is the kicker, they have a wine cellar! In the back of the restaurant, there are over 2,000 labels with wines from every region. The wine advisor nudged us into ordering a half bottle of a French red wine. Usually fish doesn't go with red wine, but she was right, this paired just fine with my fish (I am not a fan of white wine). It was priced at R$36, but they gave it to us at a discounted rate of R$20. The patio upstairs was not open while I was there for lunch, but I have walked by in the evening and it always seems lively. The ambiance was great. Nice big windows and a good crowd. Their menu is tapas-style, with a number of small sharing plates; it contains dishes like goats cheese with onion marmalade, marinated octopus, paté de campagne, and burrata of buffalo mozzarella. All the dishes on the menu are accompanied by delicious warm baguette, and the prices are all extremely reasonable ((R$19 - R$25 each). Our server was very friendly and attentive; we left quite satisfied and very full :-) Tip: If you're a fan of oysters, then Tuesday is a great night to come to Canastra! On Tuesdays they have reasonable priced raw oysters that you can order by the half dozen :-)
