I left her practice about 3 years ago, when they literally had to kick me out at age 20 (you're…read moresupposed to leave no later then 17 or 18). Dr. Michaelson is wonderful! I can't think of a single negative thing about her. She's very personable and friendly. She knows what she's doing. Great with children and parents. Followed me through my entire childhood (and then some) and knows a lot about me. She remembers where I go to school, what my aspirations are, what my family life is like, what my extra curricular activities are, etc. She remembers my health issues and the meds that I take. It really is impressive that she can talk about these things on the top of her head and not have to watch her struggle to catch up and read through my medical file. She asks a lot of questions and I feel completely comfortable telling her everything because she's not judgmental and she's definitely there to help. She makes herself available by phone in the mornings and you can make same day sick appointments. I've always been taken care of... no horror stories. And she knows a lot of specialists to refer you to if you have something really specific you need to be seen for. Also, other things might be that parking is very easy, the office is very clean and new, she has other doctors in the practice with her to take care of you if she's on a break, and her nurses and secretaries are very friendly. If I ever have kids, they're definitely coming here! I really love Dr. Michaelson

Do you like, smug, arrogant and uninterested receptionists that do nothing but belittle you and argue when you need help? Look no further. This Main Line establishment has no shortage of flaws. Once I went in for sleep apnea concerns, to get a sleep study, and the fresh-out-of-college millennial doctor starts browsing on Amazon.com (while I'm still explaining my symptoms) to recommend products for me. He called me "man". I'm older than he is. Where has respect gone in the workplace? Why did I spend $50 copay to have a child dressed in a cheap tie a stethoscope go on Amazon.com to recommend a product to me? Appalling. I quickly switched from that physician to Dr. Stevens who, despite the egregiousness of the practice overall, seems like a decent physician. If you must deal with this practice, he's your guy. Dr. Souder is a disinterested phoney who will write you a script before even considering your conditions fully. She seems more interested in touting the fact that she runs a practice than actual patient care. These doctors are constantly not-in-office and hardly helpful when they are. The rest of their staff is either an out of touch baby boomer or a millennial with a chip on their shoulder. If you're willingly going to these practice, you're a complacent suburbanite sitting on airs who believes the words "Main Line" in a businesses name mean quality or prestige. I assure it's to the contrary. Avoid these people. You could help yourself better before they could or would ever choose to help you.

The biggest issue was I arrived at 6:55 am, as instructed, for my wisdom tooth removal to find the office was locked and lights were off. No staff or doctor were present at my scheduled procedure. When a staff member arrived, I was told the doctor had the flu and they were supposed to have called each patient to reschedule their appointment. I double confirmed that I had never received a call or email about cancellation. The only communication I received the days leading up to my procedure was a confirmation text and email for my procedure. 2. Prior to this major issue with my procedure, I had my consultation appointment which began 40 minutes after my scheduled time. After 25 minutes of waiting, I let the front staff know that I needed to return to work soon and would need to be taken quickly or reschedule. I then had to wait an additional 15 minutes before being brought back. It appeared that everyone in the waiting room was having a similar experience. 3. On the day they did not show up for my procedure, I let them know I'd be going with another surgeon for my removal and I requested they provide my records. I ultimately had to have my dentist call them multiple times to track down my records because they claimed they did not have any for me. No records for a patient even though I had literally been scheduled for my procedure that morning (and had gone to a consultation there as well). They eventually located the records and sent them to my dentist's office. Overall complete lack of time management, organization, and communication skills. They really wasted my time and energy, I will now be starting the process over again at a new surgeon!

I am absolutely confident in her ability as a doctor. Great bedside manner…read more What keeps me from giving her five stars is the office operation. It takes about six months to get an appointment. The robot calls start twelve months out when the appointment is due and they won't make an appointment when i leave the last one--which means i see her every 18 months. Since i need a script for a mammogram, that also gets pushed back to 18 months. The reminder robot calls are made at the end of the day when it is impossible to use the reminder to pick up the phone and use the reminder. ( I used to fill out a reminder card that never got mailed.) When she went out on her own, she automated. I now have to have a password (yet another!) to get the results of my annual pap smear and the robot calls pester me to do so. The office assured me that they would call if all was not well with the test. My daughter also goes to Dr. marlino and the system couldn't tell us apart because we have the same home phone number. An annual exam is supposed to included in the almost $6000 i pay after tax for health insurance for just me. I was charged for the visit because the doctor wrote me a prescription, but I was not told that at the time. (And i couldn't afford to fill the Rx) This had a double sting as I had been unemployed for more than a year and there was no warning that I would be charged. I called to question this bill. The billing specialist in her office said she would ask about that but i never heard back. (It's been about a month.). I don't really begrudge her the office visit co- pay--i am just frustrated in dealing with the business side and the fact that the charge was disclosed by invoice. It is up to me to be vigilant about every business aspect of this office--appointment setting, test results, monitoring what I say to not be charged for a "free" visit and making sure I get my insurance card back from the front desk at the time of the visit. So far the quality of the care has been worth the aggravation. I keep telling myself it is only once a year--oops make that year and a half. Very impersonal business side for a very personal business.
