I attempted to purchase some coffee and use my voucher from Lufthansa and there was an issue. I asked them to void my transaction and he said no! It will be broken. I didn't want to hold up the line so I paid with my credit card and told him I would return and he said ok. When I returned after I got the voucher fixed and he proceeded to argue with me and did not want to give me a refund. Another worker got a person who was supposedly a supervisor who was just as bad if not worse than the cashier. As the cashier continued to yell at me the supervisor did nothing to stop him. I ended up leaving. Extremely rude and inappropriate behavior from people who are in the service industry. Needless to say I will not be returning.

The situation was handled very poorly by staff -- one of the waitresses was rude to the students, and the whole interaction made everyone nearby uncomfortable. I had shared this same experience in a Google Maps review, but it was later removed after a defamation complaint -- even though my account was completely honest and based on what I personally witnessed. It's disappointing that negative but truthful reviews can be suppressed like that. I'm posting here so others can make an informed choice.

I had grabbed some baked goods at an airport bakery and wanted to get a coffee to eat with them. This cafe/bar was the only restaurant near my gate, so I decided to grab a drip coffee. The food offerings were priced high here, but not ridiculous. But the drinks were another thing. I ordered a regular coffee here which was €4.10. Service was slow and I had to wait a bit for the coffee. But to add insult to injury, the coffee cup was only half full. Suffice to say, I would have been better off just buying an overpriced bottle of water than patronizing this cafe/bar.

Just to get out of the whole jet lag situation, we immediately came here and it was just buzzing. It was early spring in Bavaria, with a lot of people sitting outside and drinking coffee here. I know what you are thinking!! Early spring/? Bavaria? Shouldn't we be drinking some really nice Weihenstephan up on the mountain in the world's oldest brewery? I agree but drinking Beer after a 16 hour flight to combat jet lag would not be the proper if we wanted to stay awake and that is where Junker's comes in. Probably one of my top 5 or 6 coffee shops in the world but if you want to add a nibble to your coffee then I would rate this place among my top 3. For the first time ever, I had a Cafe Bombon which was awesome and completely took my jet lag away. Next day we went there again, this time for Breakfast and Coffee and the yogurt they gave was easily the best Yogurt I EVER tasted in my life. The only negative for me was they open at like 10AM or so and close by 5PM or so. I am giving this review anyway on Yelp although there are not that many reviews on Yelp in Europe. One interesting thing I found here was they serve coffee made from beans from India. While I personally prefer Ethiopia/Kenya beans, coffee made from Indian beans is not bad. While it doesn't have the same buttery nutty flavor you get from African beans, it also doesn't have the sour notes you get from South American beans and the coffee here is very good
