Approx 10 minutes later another individual came to my door more aggressively asking me to move my car to which I responded AGAIN that I would move it but that it would not be right that second. He began to argue with me attempting to intimidate me into moving my vehicle from a PUBLIC street. I let him know that their time frame was not my problem and that I had my own schedule I was working on to leave for work. He continued to argue with me, and then threatened me that he was going to have my car towed. I asked him if he worked for the city and he confirmed that he did not so I let him know that he could go ahead and do what he wanted. This crew is INCREDIBLY unprofessional and I do not take some guy trying to intimidate me and threaten me lightly. As a private company, you have ZERO right to threaten me that you're going to tow my vehicle from a public street. This is beyond unprofessional. Our 3' river birches planted in 2017 are now 30' just 7 years later. The past 2 years the japanese beetles haven't liked to eat our birch trees nearly as much so we had full shade in our yard. They even helped us figure out what was killing our magnolia tree (it was planted too low in the ground...by us). So we dug it up and replanted it. It's thriving now. Being new to the area we hired Boersma Lawn Service to cut our lawn. Josh quoted us $50 a cut. We…read moreagreed. The day he came out to look at yard we showed him the cable company had laid out our cable but not buried it yet. Josh assured us his guy would work around the cable. When the bill came we were charged an extra $10 so someone could move the cable out of the way. That is a ridiculous charge and we were not informed ahead of time that there would be an extra fee. When we addressed this with Josh he said we had to pay more so someone could move the cable out of the way even though we had already pointed this out to him and he didn't mention the extra fee ahead of time. We decided to end his employment at that time. The next week, his company cut our lawn again and sent us another bill even though we had already fired him. We paid both bills in full just to get rid of him. Then when we turned our sprinklers on there was a leak in the pipe. We have a new house so we had to go through the warranty company in order to get it fixed. The warranty company called their sprinkler company and 2 weeks later the pipe was fixed. Two months later I got a bill for the broken sprinkler pipe from the sprinkler company because the problem was caused by a weed wacker hit. It took so long for us to get the bill because the sprinkler company sent the invoice to the warranty company first. Boersma Lawn Care was the only company at this point who had cut our lawn so I know they did it. When we submitted the invoice to Boersma Lawn Care Josh outright refused to pay even a portion of the bill. He called us horrible names and said he is not responsible to reimburse us for the broken pipe. This is an unethical company that only looks out for themselves. Firstly, you should never charge a customer for something you haven't mentioned to them in advance and secondly, you need to take responsibility for your actions. If you mess something up you should fix it. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with this company that I implore you not to ever use them.
