I was in the reception area at 4:30 am for the next one or so in a half she did nothing but complain about a lady name Tammy. it was too early to pay any attention to her but she was upset. upon leaving around 9:00 am Diane was on the phone with I am guessing her manager complaining about Tammy. I gather the supervisor wanted to speak to Tammy but Tammy was assisting three guest at one time . Daine blew up and yelled in the phone see what I have to deal with. at this point I had enough I yelled loud in hoping the supervisor would hear me over the phone stating she was taking care of the guest. diane. became frustrated and hurried up into the next room. she was so unprofessional. Yet Tammy just continually doing her job. Other guest were commenting among one another. I tried to find the website but couldn't find it. in my opinion Diane needs team building training.

I wish I would have taken a few pictures of the good things like the bed area. The room could use a few upgrades. Looks like they have worked on some upgrades. I didn't eat breakfast so I can't comment on that but I did get coffee and it was good. I would give this hotel a 3 1/2 star and I would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom needed to be cleaned better. Door was hard to open. Stains on carpet. Room needed a deep clean. Housekeeper told me she was very busy when she finally delivered clean towels after I had to call twice for them. Plenty of fast food restaurants in the area, a Mexican restaurant, and Walmart.

We got to our room #326, and it was huge, truly the size of 2 rooms together, with a King bed and a pull out couch. The problem is, the room is so large that the space isnt used wisely, si the room comes off sterile and cold, not the warm, cozy feeling you get from most Hampton hotels. It was very Liminal Space -y. The echo was noticeable because there wasnt enough furniture to soak up the sound. The bed was VERY comfortable, the shower and bath were tops. They have scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, and the other usual hotel breakfast suspects. This hotel also has a pool and gym. There is plenty of parking and there's a gas station with plenty of snacks and drinks within walking distance.

The free breakfast was fairly typical (waffles, bagels, sausage, eggs, toast, yogurt, etc) and the breakfast area was clean. The pool was warm (which is our preference) but there weren't any towels out (we had to stop by the front desk). While there isn't a lot off of that particular exit if you drive 8 minutes to the next exit there are plenty of places to eat and shop.

Check-in went smoothly and we were in our rooms within minutes. After a long day of driving, we were glad to walk into a clean, spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. It had all the basics that we needed: mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, and more. We all slept soundly that night. We took advantage of the free continental breakfast the next day. It consisted of eggs, toast, juice, milk, etc. Instead of buffet style, they had a couple of nice ladies handing out food. Breakfast was consistent with other Holiday Inns we've stayed at. They have a coffee bar with tea and hot chocolate that you can take advantage of even after breakfast hours. The dining room was packed that morning. Check-out was also a breeze. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Since we were only there for such a short period, we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities so I can't speak for those.
