I don't do reviews but my experience requires me to do so. With a broken spring it was impossible to lift the heavy garage door. My vehicle was trapped inside the garage. I called after hours and asked to please fix my situation before my chemo treatment scheduled for late morning the next day. ADCO arrived first thing in the morning and worked efficiently and quickly. They completed the fix hours prior to my appointment at the Cancer Center. They also installed a stronger heavy duty spring so I would not have this issue again for many more years to come. Thank you ADCO for your humanity and quality service! read more

Be aware of their business model. Garage door springs and realignment were done less than a year ago. Garage door got misaligned, which I have NEVER had that issue before, and they charged for the realignment because they said they are not the springs, even thought they made the alignment. However, they were very quick to state some other recommended parts to be changed. read more

We decided to go through with ADCO while crossing our fingers. No need because they handled EVERYTHING. I didn't have to call them and ask for anything. From the permit application to the insurance paperwork/ license for my HOA. They called me to schedule the installation and inspection. My doors look amazing. WOW! Talk about fast service: my garage door spring had broken, and the door wouldn't open. After calling a few other companies, I called ADCO- (my garage door was installed 5 years ago) right away they told me exactly what it would cost and even gave me some options and recommendations. I agree with the post by Javier. The staff is extremely rude and speak to you in a condescending manner. Stay away from this company, they don't care about their customers and have the typical Miami attitude that they run the show and you are on their time. To top it all off, after they installed my garage, it failed to operate the same day after the installer left. So what did the owner Bert tell me? "Sorry Home Depot doesn't pay us to take it down, you need to take it down yourself." That's the kind of customer service you get with these guys. read more

ADCO has an EXTREMELY rude staff, but that all made sense after speaking with the clue less manger "Bert". Not only were they 2 1/2 weeks late on their job, but the inspection had to come 3 times before getting approved. Do not recommend hiring ADCO for any sort of installations. TAKE MY WORD. Couldn't be happier with Adco call them for a new door to replace the old non hurricane rated one. Process was easy and they are very professional and organized. I called this morning and the lady who answered was questioning that they gave me an estimate without going to my house as if I were lying, I offered to send the email as proof. Adco Garage Doors was a lifesaver. I was A prisoner in my own home. My car was in the garage and the spring broke on the garage door opener. I received a call back from the owner of the Company and within one hour he had his service rep at my door. He was an expert at what he did and he replaced the springs, lubed The tracks and the door was working and is as good as new. Can't thank them enough and would definitely recommend them. read more

Rude staff. Unwilling to help. Needed a part went by on Saturday door was open. Made contact with staff who was very rude. "You want a part on Saturday at 2:30" the man told me in a condescending and demeaning fashion. "Come back Monday" smug. Sitting with two other men. If this is how this company does business I feel bad for any customers. Were they closed I'll never know, because the employee wouldn't say. Heaven help any customer! read more

I had my garage door stop working late yesterday. I saw ads in a 'local flyer'. The first guy gave me a quote on the phone for a new spring that scared me! I then tried the second ad, "Adco"They were out in about an hour and repaired it for what they quoted at half the price of the first guy. The owner, then called me back today just to make sure everything was ok. I could'nt be more satisfied. Fast service and great price. read more

I purchased my garage door opener from homedepot.com and then ordered the installation from them as well. I was called within a day to schedule the installation. Ya-Ya was very polite and professional. My appointment was scheduled for 10/13/15 from 8am-12pm, she advised me she would call me the day before to confirm. On the evening of 10/12/15 I was called by Ya-ya and she also advised me the installer would call me 30 minutes before he arrived at my home. I was completely surprised to receive a call from the security gate at 9:43am on 10/13/15 that Adco had arrived. I was actually on my way out to run an errand. When the installer arrived I inquired about the phone call he replied "that's not me, that's the office." Ok...so I explained to him that I had to make it to the cleaners. He asked if I had the extension for the door and I replied no. He said he had one on his truck and when I inquired about the price his reply was "I have no idea." He never said "let me call and find out." I advised him there was a Home Depot near the dry cleaners I was going to (3.2 miles away) and I would grab one there. He said it would not be a problem, that he would start working while I was gone. I picked up the extension and was back in 17 mins. The installation went rather quickly. When he was finished he called me outside to show me how the opener operated and I noticed the old opener was lying on the floor. When I inquired about him taking that one away he advised me that I did not pay for haul away and he would not take it. I then asked him to allow me a few minutes to check my agreement, he said let me show you how to operate this first, and I responded with just give me a few minutes while I check the agreement he then retorted "I already gave you a minute" in a very rude manner. I went back in to read the 3 page agreement and was interrupted by a phone call from Ya-Ya whose demeanor had changed as she "educated" me about the installer having to get to his other jobs and he couldn't wait on me. I then asked her if she was telling me they wouldn't allow me time to confirm the services I had paid for, she paused and said yes I could confirm it but that if I had paid for that service there would have been a line item on the order. After less than five minutes I returned to the garage to find the installer GONE! I called the company and explained what happened, the owner picked up the phone and constantly interrupted me and went on to tell me how I did not pay for haul away and they don't have time to wait for customers to check on documents. When I asked him if he felt the job had been completed and his employee had performed the installation as promised, he placed me on a long hold, he returned and told me he was sending another installer out to program my keypads and he would triple check on the haul away. In the meantime I contacted Home Depot to express my displeasure with the installation company and to verify the haul away was included which of course it was. And of course I never received a call back from the owner regarding the rude installer or the erroneous information they gave me regarding the haul away. So while they complained about having to "wait" for me, it was okay for me to wait another 30 minutes for the second installer to arrive to remove what should have been taken originally and program my keypad. At what point did it become acceptable to make people pay to be treated poorly? What an unacceptable business model. read more
