I posted in a local FB group looking for suggestions and K&C was mentioned. I reached out and not only did I get a reply quickly, they were able to come look at the carpet in a matter of days! I expressed my concerns about having this happen again and what options I had. We decided instead of carpet, to go with laminate. They had my flooring done in a week!!! It was affordable, professional, completed quickly and they worked with my schedule so I didn't have to take off work. I can't recommend them enough. I've already spoken with Chris about our next project once the weather warms up, stairs to my backyard from the back door.

Before they came to clean I spoke with them and expressed my intentions on what I wanted and was told no problem I would be taken care of, they were to do a deep clean. The only thing that was deep cleaned was my wallet. None of the cabinets were wiped down. I had shelves in a front room that were not dusted, base boards in laundry room and the cabinets in there were not cleaned as well as in the pantry. Top of the fridge was never touched and the master bathroom toilet was not done, and many other items as well. We had to clean up after them. Heck even the dead bug that was in my basement was still there when we came back. I told them we were not happy with the job and all I got was and I quote from the text "We did wipe all the cabinets on top and underneath the fridge. We could not get that grease on the oven to come out completely. As well as some of the stains in the cabinets. We possibly missed one, but we were there for 3 1/2 hours with 3 maids". My security system shows my door was opened at 0958 and closed for the final time at 1227. I guess I learned my lesson never to trust anyone that I am paying to do things unless I am there to supervise. I guess the only bright side is they refunded me $50. I will say buyer beware. UPDATE 7/17 AND STILL NO REFUND!

One thing I am big on is customer service because that shouldn't cost a thing but time. Mike is the owner and he was phenomenal! He gave me a price quote over the phone which was better than another company I called that needed to come out to assess just to give a price. He was honest, reliable and prompt and he beat just about any price advertising I've seen locally and surrounding areas. Mike came to our home with a job on his hands we inherited a house from our late mother and carpets haven't been clean in almost 20 plus years. There was no judgment he was patient with us and got the job done in a surprising quick amount of time. This was a start to our now home that gave us a vision and helped us move on to the next project of the house. Our carpets turned out wonderful and he saved us the hassle of having to replace them. Well over a month later and the carpets look like they just got done. He also gives a 30 day guarantee (can't beat that). I highly recommend his services and will surely be using his company for any of our carpet needs. He's surely gained a forever customer with our family.

The self help tips I found on the internet that night didn't help. Fortunately, Paragon was highly recommended by Stroup flooring, where we bought the carpet 8 years ago. We called and the owner was there in a half hour. He got the stains up (amazing!) and then he was able to go ahead and clean the rest of the carpet. Mike (Paragon) accomplished a miracle. The work was extraordinary and the pricing was so very fair. Thank you again, for such fine work! The Pryors Frederick, MD
