This what I like about the provider, they take the population that no other dentist in the area will accept. They don't treat the IDD population disrespectful. I was bringing someone and went the wrong way 15min late to the appointment and they still told me come. Once there my individual was taken and services preformed. It's great not having to drive to UMDNJ in Newark and hunt and pay for parking. This may be an hour drive from where I come from but it saves you spending unnecessary funds on parking that my agency does not repay. But this is my experience. read more

I do not recommend Adaptive Dental at all to anyone. #1. Did not get the proper cleaning of my teeth, they did a 'fast assed job'. #2. Arrived for an appointment to find the office was being painted and no employees there. I did not get a phone call to tell me it would be closed. I have to pay for Uber to get me to places and this was money down the drain. Other people were also coming for appointments and they were just as upset as me. #3. I have had no problems in the past with having teeth extracted, and had one here. Was given double doses of whatever they use to numb the area, and still the nerve to the tooth was not affected by the injection. The doctor told me I needed to be sedated and referred me to a surgeon, to find out that surgeon wouldn't take my insurance, that I had to pay. I'm glad I called my insurance company asking for Dentist offices that take my coverage and glad I picked Aspen Dental in PA. read more

Terrible customer! The girls at the front are incredibly rude. The "office manager" couldn't even come around the counter to speak to be. I couldn't be seen over a $80 past due bill. Although the dentist told me to Come in for an emergency visit. read more

This is the most horrible place I have even seen (and I have seen many places). I have been a patient for a few years, having tooth cleaning done and regular check up by the dentists who always switch, the problem is: a) After years of them telling me that all is good, I all of a sudden developed such problems that I need two root canals done and one tooth extraction. b) They couldn't perform the root canal, so they sent me to a dentist who could do it, the dentist told me that I probably never visited a dentist because if I did, these problems would be avoided c) When I called with a severe tooth pain, they couldn't give me an appointment, it would take more than a month, even though I almost cried with pain.....they didn't care At this point I am even considering a legal action. I am highly recommending (to everyone) to avoid this place!! read more

Got a wisdom tooth out. Was super easy. The doctor was friendly very professional and made me feel relaxed. His assistant was awesome as well. She was professional and engaging. Receptionist was the same. Definitely, recommend this place after this now my second visit. read more

I've been going there for a few years now. The hygienists and dentists are nice and I like the job they do. However, this place is always very dirty. Every single time I've walked into a dental exam/cleaning room there, there's actual garbage on the floor. I've seen used cigarettes, parts of plaster mold for teeth, dirt, mud (I hope), etc. I usually go in the morning so it's disturbing to me the floors are disgusting at 9/10am. I'm thinking of switching because if the floors are consistently so disgusting, I don't know if I'm getting the quality of care I'm paying for. read more

Dental care was fine for our daughter with special needs, however we were hit with A LOT of hidden charges. Some were written off, such as behavior management (why they were even billed to our insurance company for a 5 minute look-see is very odd) and hospital call charges. I have learned my lesson to ask for a detailed pre-treatment estimate for ALL charges, not just charges for dental work. read more

I just want to say that this dental practice is wonderful... Recently I had the best cleaning by Meg the hygienist ... She was wonderful... I have had rough experiences before but Meg was able to be gentle. Her personality and attention to detail made it smooth and easy. I came away feeling that my teeth were thoroughly cleaned. Dr. Maggio finalized the procedure... With his expertise and complete exam, I came away with a sparkling smile... Now I am looking forward to going back for my next cleaning in 6 months... Incredibly disappointed with my visit. I went over a year ago a little over a year ago and still think about how horribly this appointment went. I have never had a cavity in my whole life. I had recently come into a new job which provided dental insurance, which did not cover any of my previous dentists, so I figured I would try Adaptive Dental, as they are pretty local to me. Upon my visit, I was told that I had 6 cavities and a possible 7th. I was totally devastated as I take excellent care of my teeth. They immediately tried to book me to get them drilled the following week. They also kept trying to push a teeth whitening system on me, despite having pretty white teeth as well. Not to mention the teeth whitening system was rather expensive, so I am sure they were trying to sell me on it for their own profit. Instead of booking the appointment to get my teeth drilled, I went for a second opinion at a different dentist, who told me that they could not even guess the location where the Adaptive Dental dentist was claiming were cavities. He said my teeth appeared to be in excellent health, with NO cavities. A year later and I have gone for two more cleanings, at my old dentist - despite my insurance not covering them - and I am still cavity free. I had told my old dentist about it and they are happy that I went for a second opinion instead of letting that dentist compromise my teeth by drilling in them when there was not any cavities. I would hope everyone would stay away from Adaptive Dental, as it seems they are more into sales, than actual dentistry. read more

been going there for awhile now. good cleanings. had some issues with 'cap' works. depends which dentist you get, i hope. will go back.
