So I used to come here all the time for my feed and chicks, I even liked stopping by just to look…read more But after recently I stopped going for a few reasons. 1) Other than knowing where items are in the store, there is a giant lack of knowledge when it comes to how to care for animals and what you should buy for them to keep them healthy. I don't work here and I know way more about chicks than anyone working there. 2) I get situations where the employees are careless and pushy to get things over with, but this isn't always the case. I do know some individuals that I will go there just to say hi to even though I'm not buying anything. 3) the prices are more that tractor supply due to them being privately owned and their variety for chicks is small. 4) My last straw was when I came in to buy a chick, and what I bought was not at all what they advertised it to be. I bought a blue Cochin pullet to add to my flock of ladies. Months go buy and the chick started looked absolutely nothing like the breed, and it started showing signs of a rooster. It grew up to be a male cross bred chicken that was completely white and it was seriously mean to the point of leaving scratched on my mom. I wasn't offered anything in return for the mixed bread (which it was supposed to be pure bred Cochin). So at this point I just gave him away and never got chicks from them again. You shouldn't be selling cross breeds for the price of pure bred. My assumption is that he was a blue Cochin mixed with a white silkie.

I went to the service department again weeks later new service manager just told me if i wanted to take it he understood, so pretty much just take it and problem solved. unbelievable, I am sure glad i did not buy a large tractor there. Don't bother taking your mower or anything here for repairs, they wont be able to fix it and after 2-3 months they will just tell you to go ahead an take it.

DO NOT take your equipment to Mustang Equipment SAT 78233…read more Repairs took 2 1/2 weeks AND almost cost 2x the estimate. I purchased my JD from Mustang Equip. I needed service. I read the bad reviews but tried them anyway. The Service Writer repeatedly said it would not be more than $200. The final price was $435 before I complained. $372 after adjustments. They didn't look at the tractor until I called on the original due date 1 1/2 weeks after I took it in. It sat in their "bone yard" outside for 19 days total. The repairs only took 2.3 hrs according to the invoice. They replaced a carburetor, spark plug & adjusted the tracking. An automated voice message said it was "ready" so went to pick it up. The battery was dead and the tractor was filthy. I refused to buy a battery from Mustang. They jump started the mower so I could load it. In the end I paid almost double the estimate. Waited 19 days. I got a tractor more dirty than I took in. They scratched up the rear paint when they carried it into service area with a fork lift because they drained the battery. Plus the work was sloppy. They will smile, take your money and waste your time. Put them out of business! Buy the parts on Amazon, watch a YouTube video and save time and money. Take your equipment ANYWHERE BUT Mustang.

I moved out to Seguin 4 years ago and at that time bought a Mahindra 3016 package deal from bills…read moretractor. Within 4 years with light use the tractor needed the entire fuel system replaced and through the 4 years had a plethora of other issues. When I would call the parts and service people didn't know their tractors and it showed. I tell you this because after being quoted $5,000 dollars to replace the fuel system and a warranty of a whopping 30 days I decided it was time to part ways with the Mahindra. I called all three of the tractor dealers in Seguin and was very pleased with the service at Ewald. After hours and hours of research I decided to give Kubota our business. Austin Gay made the process extremely easy and enjoyable. Any time I have questions he has gotten the information I need as quickly as possible. I bought the tractor in May of 2017 and minus hitting a stump and bending a shredder blade yesterday I've had absolutely zero issues with the Kubota l4701 we bought. I cannot speak highly enough about Austin and the people I've come into contact with at Ewald. Because of the service I received during my tractor purchase I decided to also purchase a new weed eater there. I had my mind made up on a Sthil weed eater when I arrived, however Austin said I should buy the Echo SRM280t. Again he steered me in the right direction. That weed eater is a monster. It has had no problem cutting through my thick weeds and even some small mesquite. I highly recommend the echo. Today I called to get the information of the shredder blade I bent. The salesman got my the price and specs on it within a few minutes. What impressed me the most about that was when I showed up the gentleman had taken notes and written the part number down. Mind you I didn't tell him I would be coming to pick it up. Excellent customer service!!! Stuff like makes the buying process so much nicer and easier than some of the other places around here. If you're in the market for new equipment please give Ewald a call. All my future business will be conducted with them!!

I have made several trips to ask why I haven't received my plates and was always told "The Lady will call you when they are ready" Today I was in the store again to inquire about my plates and while talking to my salesperson some guy I don't know and never met tried to hand my a forged temp tag to put on my trailer and said this will trump the hard plates. A Lie and illegal by the way. Turns out that Bozo owns the place. I paid cash for the trailer and the plates and title should be here by now. If you don't file the paperwork with the county for 42 days after a cash purchase I wouldn't expect the plates would be on time. Now back to the purchase of my lawnmower. I financed the mower with Mahindra and was told that I had to purchase Dual Interest insurance on the loan ( Also a lie and illegal you can simply add a rider to your homeowners to cover the asset) I decided to let it slide since I planned to pay the mower off in a couple of months. After my experience in the store today, I have decided to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and State of Texas Attorney General and The Comal Tax office regarding the issues at Texas Tractor Country and unless you have time to go through that I would avoid this place at all costs. Lesson for the day don't piss off the big redneck boy!

Imagine a company that gets you to sign a contract on false pretenses and then, when they don't…read moredeliver the product you thought you were buying, they tell you that YOU are the problem and that your credit will be ruined. Thats Todd at Texas Tractor Country in a nutshell. I bought a tractor from Hunter at the end of 2024. After 9 hours of operation rats ate the wiring harness overnight. It took them a month to pick it up Todd in service kept telling me they would "be there by the end of the week." The mechanic that picked it up told me "mahindra put peanut butter in the wires." He showed me the entire wiring harness eaten to shreds. He assured me that this would be a repeat issue...his words not mine. Todd in service then tried to bill me for $3,000 to get it fixed despite the fact that the tractor was under a 5 year warranty AND I had purchased extra insurance from them when I bought the tractor...insurance that they ASSURED me would cover any issues that the warranty would not cover. Turns out...the insurance they sold me "covers everything but rat damage to the wiring harness." How convenient for them. They apologized for selling me insurance that did not do what they promised...but then blamed me for not trusting or wanting the tractor anymore. Todd kept saying "I can't understand why you are upset at us (the dealership) or why you have lost confidence in the tractor"... mahindra finance and corporate both repeatedly lied to me, promising to find a solution and call me back...which they never did. Now my credit is going to be ruined. In one last effort to get Todd to do the right thing and help me, he refused...and kept falling back on these two arguments 1. "I just don't understand why you lost confidence in the tractor.... (that broke after 9 hours and does not have the insurance/warrant they promised me it would have)." and 2. "You keep getting hung up on the fact that the tractor was not insured the way we told you it was insured" yeah...I do confess that I'm really hung up on people keeping their word to me. That this is a problem for Todd tells you everything you need to know about this place. Texas Tractor Country are GREAT people and super FRIENDLY...UNTIL you sign the dotted line...and then once they've got you, even when they are at fault, you will pay the price...and have to endure the same rudeness I did when you talk to the head guy. In their dealings with me they felt no obligation to hold up the assurances they gave me when I signed the contract. I'm paying a high price indeed to not have to do business with them ever again...but having my credit ruined is worth it to never have to speak to them again. Save yourself the headache.
