He will give you what you need. He has been a therapist when he seen medicine wasn't enough. He even brought my husband in and save our marriage. When I needed a narcotic medicine and he wasn't able to prescribe it he recommended going to another psychiatrist. It's not about the money for this man. The food was horrible quality and gave me constipation. Constant crazy people talking to no one that's there and bothering you. They filled up a tray with nothing but steamed, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower. Then when I showed a staff my meal and said I needed some kind of protein they got angry with me and said your mom told us you're vegetarian. I've been pescatarian for most of my life. I said if this is all you're going to give me then I guess I'll have to eat what everyone else is. Not to mentioned I about starved myself for a week before admittance thanks to trying to come off my mood medication. I told the therapist I felt worse than when I came in and I was not used to meat. I even asked just to be fed white meat if they couldn't accommodate me. He said sure and nothing was done. Pork for dinner. I refused to eat that. Then I had heart burn and asked for something for it. The night nurse said I could have milk. I told her I was lactose intolerant. She said that was why I had gerd because I drink juice instead of milk. I drink dairy free milk but guess they've never heard of it. I posted a review elsewhere and pretty sure they had deleted it. I have emailed them and no response. It's 1990 anymore. Vegetarian food is not hard to come by. Heck vegan food isn't! And from what I've read other hospitals provide vegetarian meals. I know the one in Florida I stayed at 10 years ago did. This was only one horrifying thing they did to me. This place would give Asylum a run for its money. I have stayed in other places but never treated this way.
