If you've come across Foxlight in your search for a wedding photographer, then you can stop now,…read moresetup an appointment, and prepare to book them! The photos you'll receive will take your breath away; between the engagement shoot and wedding photos, there were so many beautiful pictures that it was difficult to pick just a few for our save the dates, album, etc. To make Foxlight even better, Chris and Jacqui are two people you'll want by your side on your wedding day! They both make the awkwardness of being photographed so much fun and easygoing, they wont overly pose you or critique...they'll encourage you to have fun with it and make it enjoyable rather than stressful. Not only are they laid back and fun, but they're so organized and attentive! We had a winter wedding and I desperately wanted it to snow, I obviously cant control the weather BUT it SNOWED! We never wouldve known it if it wasn't for Chris coming to us and going "guys, its flurrying...let's get some photos!". It was such a simple thing I said and they remembered, my husband and I were both so happy! After the wedding, we were so pleasantly surprised when we received over 25 pictures within 5 days! It was a perfect little teaser for what was coming. We are still attempting to narrow down our 200 favorite photos to 80 for our album! So really, look no further, Foxlight is unbeatable!

FABULOUS! Look no further for your wedding photographer/videographer, Foxlight is it. Jacqui &…read moreChris & the rest of the staff were amazing from start to finish, and the photos were unbelievable. Of all the decisions we had to make for our wedding, hiring Foxlight as our photographer and videographer was hands down the best decision we made.

A lot of the reviews here(not all), largely negative, seem to have a tone due to not getting their…read morealbums on time (with hints of partly due to not having paid completely after the photo shoot). Here is my (Dissertation :)) experience with Sherwood Triart in 2007. My wife and I married at Fox Hollow in 2007, Sherwood was recommended to us by the Scotto Brothers, owners of the venue, along with a number of other venues. The initial sale process and tour was quite amazing. Our rep was quite keen on showing us around, explaining all the technical details, even showed us all the equipment and back rooms where they do post process (This might have been because I was asking technical questions because I'm well versed in how the technical side of photography works). Our contract was laid out and explained. we did a few changes and it was rather painless. They explained that payments (in two increments) in full were due the week of the shoot and tipping the photographer was customary, which I am more than happy to do. --- side note, Most wedding photographers (the actual person taking the pictures, and their assistants) are hired from a network of professionals. It is unlikely that the anyone related to the Sherwood name would be doing any of the photo work, this goes for almost any other Large scale company, UNLESS you specifically ASK and SPECIFY and are willing to shell out the money. Yes there are Hugely famous photogs out there that do their own shoots, but they do come at a HUGE premium and the wait time would be impossible unless you're famous or just lucky.---- We were also told it would take about 2 to 3 months for the proofs and another month or so for the album. Also fine with that. And that they could not tell us who was going to be the actual photographer till the day of the shoot. This was scary but we relied mainly on the reputable referrals to ease our fears. Day of the shoot, our photographer was a lady along with a younger female assistant. I will leave her name out because she was great and did quite a thorough job. Really patient and attentive to the cultural habits of a disorganized wedding party (normal). I hope Sherwood Triart paid her well. 3 weeks later (to our surprise) we get a call from a flustered female rep from Sherwood Triart telling us our proofs were ready, so we picked them up. There was literally thousands of 4x6 printed proofs for us to go through (very cool kinda). To our surprise, a number of the pictures had dust spots on them (this is due to dust being present on the camera sensor during the photo session). Also there was a good 20 to 30 pictures that was clearly not from our wedding, as we're asian, and those were caucasian (ie blonde, blue eyes, tall as fuck, lol). So we called and were assured that the dust issues were fixable during post production (editing) and that the misplaced pictures were a clerical issue. We then scheduled a day to go in and go through what we wanted in our album. That was also painless. 3 months later we were called to say our album was ready... BUT their office hours all of a sudden were quite limited and constrained. A week later we made the trip there to pick up our album at 5pm, the place was closed and dark. So we banged on the door and called. Minutes later a flustered lady (who I assume was the same aforementioned flustered lady on the phone) finally came out and gave us our album all neatly packaged like something you'd get from Tiffanys on a spending spree (nice). The pictures were OK, not great (editing wise). This company is NOT for everyone. One - Understand the larger the company, the less personal and responsible the service will be. Two - If you want timely return on your purchase (service and final album), understand that full payment must be honored, if you haven't finished paying them in the 2 years you're complaining about, then its largely your fault. AND YES service will suck exponentially to go along with that. Three - YES it is true service does go downhill once you sign the contract and have paid. Again this is a large impersonal company that outsources a majority of their labor. and as I understand have a habit of over booking more work than they can do at a timely manner. THIS IS THE FAULT of Sherwood Triart. and IF they want to stay viable in the market they currently dominate at that area, they'll need to fix that. Four and FINAL - My recommendation to any couple looking for a photographer. IF you're demanding and or have specific expectations of how you want things. You need to find a Wedding photographer who DOES the actual wedding shoot. Do not accept recommendations. There are tons of talented people out there. Going to an outfit like this is NOT for you. Online resources can point you to amazing talent. Look for people who have peer awards. Specify time frames and payments and stick to them or you're the only one to blame. Congrats to all the future couples
