Sandra was able to come to my house the day I contacted Silicon Valley House Cleaning to evaluate my kitchen and bathrooms. I couldn't have asked for a better result.

I really want to give them 3.5 stars…read more I requested for deep cleaning for most of the house. Sandra came to assess the scope of work and took notes. A staff of 3 came at the appointment time and finished within 3 hours. Overall they did a good job. Most of the areas they cleaned were done well. They did miss some of the instructions I gave Sandra, so I don't know if the staff got the memo. When I reported that to Sandra, she just apologized and didn't offer to rectify. They also worked around my pet areas, which I thought felt kind of half a$$. So like half the wall was cleaned. A few minor things were thrown away, so I needed to buy replacements, which was a little annoying. Like others mentioned in their reviews, they didn't put things back the way they were. If that bothers you, don't go with these folks cuz it will drive you crazy. Price is relatively cheap I think, so maybe I got what I paid for. Not sure if I'll use them again.

I scheduled a move out cleaning of our rental apartment and I was amazed at how clean the home was when Nathalia and her teammate were done. The use of a particular disinfectant along with cooking grime caused a discoloration of the hardwood flooring in the kitchen. Nathalia single handedly cleaned the kitchen while her associate covered all other bases. I do not believe anyone else would have had the patience or the dedication that these girls had. I am extremely happy with the outcome and will be working with them again soon! Thank you!!

After using QC's services for nearly two years, we've decided to move on…read more 1 - Their cleaning materials were too strong and bleachy smelling. 2 - Oftentimes instructions weren't followed or the team would do things that defied cleaning common sense and would create more work for us (like putting trash in recycling bins) 3 - They tried to hike up our cleaning costs with sloppily defined reasons. I will spare the details here, but when I debunked their reasons with hard evidence, they ultimately reneged the higher cost proposal, but didn't apologize. This rubbed me the wrong way and unfortunately, that's when I decided I was done. The cleaning services, besides the smell and odd lack of common sense stuff, were good. If you're in a pinch and don't want to use your brain for recurring services, QC is fine.

I think they did great, especially due to the fact that our house hasn't been professionally cleaned for a long time, and it was only 2 hours for 2 people to clean. We had to stay in the house while they cleaned, so we just told them what rooms to ignore and then made sure to stay out of their way. Even though we were in the house, they text me when they were done so that they made sure not to bother us. She later told me that if we go with them for cleaning next time, she'll bring her special told to better clean our jacuzzi tub. Cash payment. Not sure if they take anything else, but cash is probably preferred. It was easy to communicate with them via text. They did forget their shoes outside of our house, but they can pick it up next time we book them.
