Charlene started professionally and said the right things, but as soon as she was paid, everything changed. She told me she wouldn't be able to write for me if I support "transgendering children" and was a no show to the findings consultation and did not respond to my message or email asking if she was still joining the meeting. After several hours of no response I reached out again to find out if there was anything she was missing from me and was answered with a hate-filled rant that had nothing to do with my resume or her commission. After three days of not hearing from her again I sent a Zelle request for a refund and only then did she respond and said she didn't think military members were allowed to think like that . She never had the courage to say any of this to my face and didn't even apologize for not wanting to work with me. She runs a scam where she expects you to dispute the charge through your bank or credit card so she can keep your payment with no effort. EDIT: I don't understand what is predatory about desiring youth to be valued and respected. I never said anything about surgery as no pediatrician would advocate that, and if your concern is gender affirmation, that can be as simple as referring to youth by their desired name and pronouns, something you have not had an issue giving to me in our communication (including your response). I didn't know treating others as I would want to be treated was radical. If you couldn't write me a resume, offer me a refund, otherwise you are a scam artist that needs to find an honest way to make a living. read more

I do not recommend spending $350 or more for this service. As with other reviewers, very odd behavior when questioning certain issues. The resume was very "standard" and after posting it on several job boards and applying to almost 15 companies, I have not even received one interview. I did find several errors on my resume (such as spelling). For the kind of money I spent on this "professional" resume, I should not be the one finding spelling errors. Inasmuch, she NEVER followed up with me so I am perplexed as well as to how she tracks her progress and statistics. I too, advise others to find someone else. If you want a top notch resume and LinkedIn profile- Charlene is your person. I found her back in January when I realized that I should update my resume and start a new job search. I found her on google and contacted her right away. She was professional, compassionate and very easy to work with. One thing I realized about this process is it is all about you! If you don't give her the details of who you are or what you have accomplished, you aren't giving her much to work with. I don't particularly like talking about me, but it is so necessary. I actually felt like I was more than I saw myself to be and then when it is confirmed on your resume and your LinkedIn page, it is a confidence builder. I would suggest making a list of all of your accomplishments prior to contacting her. Charlene wrote my resume and updated my linked in page in a matter of a day or two. Then Covid-19 hit and I didn't start my job search. Instead, my position was eliminated at the end of June. I was not expecting this but I was so thankful that I already had a great updated resume and LinkedIn page!! When I started sending my resume and changed the setting to open to recruiters on LinkedIn, I got alot of hits. I was told by everyone that my resume looked great! I have landed my dream job and I was part of a national search!! This would not have been possible if I had written this myself. Resume writing is an art and you need to hire the best! Like another reviewer, I was happy with my resume but not the cover letter. But oddly, the principal refused to make the changes I asked for. She told me that due to her guarantee of landing me an interview, she needed to write things exactly her way. I then told her to forego that guarantee and just make the changes. Instead of doing so, she sent me links to grammar sites supposedly backing up her grammatical choices, and basically dug in. Again, very odd behavior for a consultant. I doubt her statistics about 99% of clients getting interviews, because she never followed up to track my progress, so how would she know? While she does have knowledge of HR practices and how to construct resumes, if you like to have any input whatsoever into the process, I'd advise you to find someone else. While my initial resume was great, on a followup for edits I had a very strange experience. I only wanted a resume re-write, but the writer refused to allow me to write my own cover letter. My business and marketing experience is that you remove obstacles for customers rather than create them. If you have a good relationship with the principle, you will get a good resume. read more
