Acupuncture Rejuvenation Facial I was very excited to learn that Candice was offering Acupuncture Rejuvenation Facials. As a 62 yr. young woman, I was interested in restoring youthfulness to my facial appearance in a holistic approach. Candice first treated my constitutional wellness at the time of my facial rejuvenation, an approach that satisfied my desire for a holistic approach to wellness. After inserting the acupuncture needles for my constitutional needs Candice proceeded to perform a mini facial massage with oil followed by spooning and cupping, as Candice explained this increases blood flow. The massage was gentle, the oil felt light and made my skin feel hydrated. I shared with Candice the cupping felt like angle fish kisses. Once the massage was done, Candice proceeded with inserting the acupuncture needles of various sizes into my scalp, face and neck. Candice's free hand needle insertion was proficient as I did not feel any of the needle insertions, a skill she shared with me that not many acupuncture practitioners have. After the needle insertion process was complete, Candice had me relax on her comfortable table listening to relaxing music while the needles did their work. I could feel energy moving through my scalp, face and neck, a comforting and reassuring experience. I could feel a sensation in my upper lip area getting fuller, no longer a flat tire, the scalp needles gave me the sensation of lifting and the neck needles a sensation of skin tightening. These sensations continued well after the needles were removed for many hours. All the acupuncture needles were removed after 20 minutes. I started seeing Candice for severe migraines, and a few other health issues about a year ago she is absolutely AWESOME!!!!! She is an extremely good acupuncturist. She takes the time to go over your in-depth medical history. Answer any questions and concerns you may have and explain what each point treats and how it will feel and what to expect. She truly cares about her clients and will tell you if she feels acupuncture would be good or not at treating issues unlike some. She also offers a sliding scale payment which has allowed me to receive the treatment I need. Since I started treatment my migraines have gone from 3-5 times a week to like 1-3 times a month. My other issues have subsided or gone away with treatment also. I went to here as my first experience in accupuncture. I have to say that despite my jumpiness, Candice did a great job of making me feel secure and comfortable. She really knows her stuff and it shows. The first time I went in was for stress and some hip pain. After a couple of treatments with both accupuncture and herbs both symptoms were better. Each session helped me focus better at work as well. I went in a couple of times for digestive issues and this is where accupuncture really worked its magic; after days of discomfort, my stomach pains were gone almost instantaneously.
