Victor at Hye Lighting made my experience with lighting repair a breath of fresh air. I have…read moresconces that I thought I could repair myself by buying the crystals online. Even though I had measured, they did not fit when I tried to attach them. I headed into Hye Lighting and Victor immediately attended to me and fixed the crystals. I later found another missing crystal I had missed and went back to Hye again. Victor and his assistant searched high and low for the one last missing Swarovski crystal and sure enough they found one in their stash the exact size. Victor was a lifesaver and the fact that this store has so many supplies on hand to fix anything really makes them a hidden gem. Just when I thought me and the Internet could do it all, this amazing little shop proves nothing beats a brick and mortar store with owners that have extensive knowledge, inventory, and good old-fashioned service. Please support the stores we can still walk in because if we don't, getting help without losing money on Internet purchases will be a thing of the past. I could not return the crystal parts I had bought online, so I donated them to Victor. I highly recommend Hye for lighting purchases and repairs. On another note, some lights I had on columns faded years ago. Even back then, they took every light and spray painted them black. 10 years later and my column lights have never faded. Hye lighting is a much needed local store that goes above and beyond time and time again.

At first i thought these guys are charging alot but now that i compare the quality or what I got from these guys vs what we got from Bed Bath ... the difference is noticeably. Easy to install , complete with no issues, easy to clean and keeps the quality. In regards to their customer service, Peter did pretty good. He took my order and told me 3 weeks but then he got some extra of the same model from the manufacturer and he was kind enough to call and let me know. Saved 2 Weeks ! So if you are looking for Cheap , maybe not the best place for you, But Quality : Customer service : And above all , Value :

After checking all the surrounding big-box stores in the area, I couldn't find what I was looking for, and I didn't get any help from the employees. But luckily, I found this place. Once I saw "electrical wholesale," I had a good feeling that before even walking in, I was going to find what I needed. I got there, and two extremely nice employees (one of them was the owner) heard me out and looked at my picture and my project. Not even 30 seconds later, I had exactly what I was looking for!! What a great feeling. I had to come share this experience and review to show my genuine appreciation. If you find this place and this review, I highly recommend checking them out for all your electrical and lighting needs!

I purchased over $ 150.00 worth of spotlights and bulbs, and 4 of the bulbs (one was broken in the box) had the wrong lumens and didn't look good in my home. They were amber-looking when I told the clerk I wanted cool white. I tried to return the 4 bulbs the next day and was initially told that they don't accept returns. Unbelievable. Then I was reluctantly offered a store credit. The clerk's demeanor and arrogance were appalling. I was told that it's the owner's policy. I don't believe him. This policy is not posted anywhere, nor was I told that this was a final sale. We will never buy from this store again. There is nothing proprietary about these light bulbs, and they are readily available at a lesser price online, in Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc. I tried patronizing a local vendor in Thousand Oaks. They did nothing but leave a bad taste in my mouth. I guess that's what I get for trying to support local business. Never again for this store. Stay away.
