Large thrift, good prices, nice enough cashiers. Stopped in here real quickly and noticed they had alot of toys and stuffed animals. Lots of shoes and many racks! Racks everywhere. New racks, were off to the side and waiting to be put out but they were also shoppable. Prices for stuffed animals are a dollar, couple bucks, big bags of stuffies also a couple bucks. Shoes 7ish bucks. The store is not very clean. It very much looks like a thrift store and has kind of an odd layout. The front looks like the back and the back looks like a back exit. The front of the store facing the street has a display looking area, so from the inside, it's higher up and is accessed by a ramp. Kind of weird and an odd use of space. The whole thing could use a sprucing up. But like most thrifts, it is what it is. Quality of goods is so-so but they do have boutique items like Rothys, or mickey/Disney items and nicer jackets. I'm going to be real honest here, this place has really good quality clothes for low prices but the people who work here are beyond rude. I guess the volunteers didn't have much to do today and so they were taking a break and the two ladies working at the cashier complained and talked bad about them in front of me specifically pointing out which volunteers they felt were lazy and the problem. Like these are volunteers mind u, theyre not paid and u treat them like slaves. Not only that but the employees also give attitude when u try to ask them for assistance. Always have had good experiences with the cashiers here! I was there a couple of days ago and the cashier even went to great lengths to help me scan the QR code to receive the emails with the coupons. I was really grateful and felt appreciated as a customer. I ended up buying a jacket I loved for only $6.50 since it was 50% of that color tag this week. I also got a lot of ribbon for crafting for only 99¢! So cool! I love going through the crafting items and looking for special books to use for my junk journaling or just to read. One of the greatest thrift stores but... The crowd of homeless people made me stop going years ago. There are literally like 15 people minimum that line the entrance constantly. Can't walk in the store without aggressive panhandling. It really sucks because I love this store, but it's just not worth it. The homeless people make it extremely uncomfortable. read more

Thursday night 3pm-7 pm 40% entire purchase. My first time here and so far I am liking this shop. Each and everyone of the staff I encounter that works here are friendly . Building has no AC so if you don't mind sweating a little while you peruse each aisle , you sure will find some really reasonable prices . Some clothes I picked are new and has store tags still attached. Their furniture are much lower priced here then other thrift store I've been too. I am thrilled I found a boom box radio with CD and cassette player for $24.99 and today Thursday after 3-7 pm I get 40% off . Score!!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would and I normally don't leave reviews, but in this case being that this is a thrift store and you are dealing with people directly they really need to work on their customer service attitudes like if you're not happy where you work then that's not a place for you simple as that. This is more so in regard to the elderly lady that has black hair dye with super white hair roots, she is beyond rude and is not helpful whatsoever mind you there was another associate there who came out when we were leaving and she was also rude. I think she was a supervisor, but man I work in customer service and that was a terrible experience and I will not be returning. They have a huge wall with something saying that they will pray for you. They need to pray for each other because the negativity all around is bad. I will say there was a helpful African-American man who helped me put my table in my truck who didn't say much, but was very helpful and also the girl with the copper hair she backed me up when the elderly lady was talking rude to me. So maybe keep those associates around but those other associates will make you lose business quick. read more

I haven't been to this thrift store in a very long time, so when we arrived and saw this I was very disappointed. First of all, parking is a nightmare. Also, what does this have anything to do with a place of business. (Picture is in photos) How would people that have family in Palestine feel if they were to come to this store to shop and they see this? It's very unprofessional. Time to do another rating on this fabulous thrift store. Great place for odds and ends, and for me, another opportunity to meet friends. We regulars are excited to see each other and exchange info about where to find great stuff. The addition of Dee from another thrift store makes it even more fun to shop there, and she makes me feel like I'm visiting a friend. But about the Great Stuff... recently I've been checking out the books looking for inspiration to paint clothing, and I found some nice old children's books with characters painted in watercolor. Met some buyers of self help and positive thinking books for the incarcerated, and people who just enjoy leafing through the books for fun. A great selection of paperback best sellers and romance novels. Clothes are a bit expensive now, as they are at most thrift stores these days. Sad to see how inflation has hit the thrift community. But sale days are terrific at ACTs and be sure to get on the instagram and text lists for other pop up deals. (While I was writing this a Tuesday Manager's Special popped up!) Genuinely disgusted with the services here. Front desk clerk was extremely rude with attitude towards all customers with a demeaning tone in her voice. She did not even recognize her own employee and talked down to him "oh if you work here you should've told me, well I can't help you anymore go to the next register." I don't know what's happening to the thrifts in the area, but between the terrible price jumps and item selection, i now have to worry about being ripped off by the thrifts looking to get one over on the customer's. I bought a pack of xmas ribbon for my significant other and when we were setting up gifts to wrap, realized what they actually sold me was a pack full of burlap ribbon with a little bit of xmas ribbon ontop of it to trick buyers. ACTS Thrift Store is one of my favorite thrift stores. Even though it is jam-packed, it is well-organized. The store is constantly being restocked and most of the prices are reasonable. I like the coupons and other daily promotions. Dropping off donations is super easy as well. Most of the people that work there are friendly, but I have found that Sam (the young woman with the tattoos - I only mention what she looks like because there is another employee with the same name) always provides exceptional customer service. She has exceeded my expectations every time I have interacted with her. During one of my first visits, she patiently explained how the coupons work. She is always professional and engaging and she treats her customers with respect and kindness. A few months ago, when the world was shut down due to COVID-19, all of us who were stuck at home were looking for projects to keep busy. Some folks dabbled in delivery booze. Others started lifting weights and got jacked. Still others snacked... and packed on the curves. Me? Well, I decided that it was finally time to clean out the garage. So armed with a roll or trash bags and a "get rid of it" attitude, I loaded an entire truck's worth of stuff that normally would have gone out on the lawn for a yard sale... but with the threat of someone shedding virus in close proximity to my wifenkids, I started looking for a thrift shop to donate. I called one near my home... closed indefinitely. Then I called a second. Also shuttered due to coronavirus. A third. A fourth. OMG, was I going to have to put all that crap back in the garage!?!?! Finally, I called this ACTS, and was told they were open for donations! Fully 35 miles from my home, I decided to take the non-freeway trek (to keep things from blowing out all over the road). The process for donation was simple: pulled into the back, unloaded the truck, got a receipt, sprayed myself liberally with isopropyl alcohol, and drove home. Peeking inside, it appears that they have rack after rack and row after row of all sorts of things. Knowing that prices are dirt cheap and that proceeds support a good cause makes donating here a no-brainer. Now that things have started to reopen a little closer to home, I won't have much occasion to visit this ACTS store. But if you're in the area and have something valuable that is just sitting there collecting dust, or worse--that you're planning to just throw away-- consider donating it to this Thrift Store. They will be grateful for your donation, and you're passing along some good in the world at a time so many of us desperately need it. read more
