My daughter started at Children's Circle after she and I moved back to Lincoln due to a my husband and I getting divorced. Andrea was also helpful and insightful with her behavior and development. No matter what the situation at home I knew I could be open and honest with the staff and knew were a team in my daughters growth and development. i will continue to refer all friends and family to Children's Circle as they truly care about your child and prepare them so well for the next step.

I have had a great experience with Children's Circle, a relationship I've enjoyed for nearly 8…read moreyears. My eldest child started after her second birthday. She came from an at home day care environment that was less than desirable. I heard about the school through a friend, and after visiting the school I realized it was the perfect place for her to grow. I had trouble with her toilet training and other social development issues, and within a month at Children's Circle, I noticed a huge change in her. She began regularly using the potty, she acted in an age appropriate manner with the other children, and she seemed much happier. She went on to the Primary 2 community when she turned three, and was there until her Kindergarten year, when my husband and I moved to Chicago for school. While in Chicago we were blessed with another child, and when she was 18 months, she started at Children's Circle's Primary 1 community. She is a very happy, well adjusted child now enjoying the Primary 2 classroom. Last year, my husband and I realized our marriage wasn't working and decided to end it. Andrea and all of the teaching staff at Children's Circle were a HUGE help to me, assisting my child adjust to our new normal. My youngest feels so safe with her teachers and her friends that I know it would've been much more devastating had she not been given the support and stability created by Andrea. I feel that I can speak with Andrea about any issues that are of concern regarding my children, and she routinely asks about my oldest daughter at school functions. In fact, my oldest will get out of the car to speak to her old teachers, who not only remember her, but are genuinely interested in her activities! The jump start a Montessori education gives a child is invaluable. My oldest is excelling in her current studies, and I see daily the curiosity that was nurtured at such a young age. I cannot say enough good things about the value both my children and I as a parent receive from this preschool!

My grandson was not accepted to this school 1-1 1/2 weeks before he was scheduled to start. My…read moredaughter and her husband were put on a waiting list to get into this school to find out through e-mail that he threw toys (mind you, he's 21 months old) and was a danger to himself and others. My son-in-law got a second job and they both changed their work schedules just so my grandson could attend this (so-called) wonderful learning experience of a school. My daughter and son-in-law were told that the school could tell that my grandson was from a (BROKEN) home, so if you are divorced, have a child and you're not married, or don't have a family life like FATHER KNOWS BEST or THE WALTONS------Forget this school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of our children attending has a disability and they've been most accommodating of it. All of the staff are passionate about Montessori and teaching children and it shows. Our kids have developed into caring and well-behaved little people who crave intellectual stimulation due to their schooling. The negative comments about this establishment should be taken with a grain of salt. I would highly encourage parents to investigate the school for yourselves. You will no doubt find, as we did, that all of the staff are very respectful and consider each child individually for the program.

Not only did they leave my sons…read morestuff outside because I disagreed with them the owner basically ended mu contract because I wouldn't shut up when i was trying to express myself to him. And because of them my son got scabies, and a bad case of shingles please don't take your kids here...they are pathetic. I have no problem with the teachers it's the owner he us very immature and has some issues if as a parent I can't ask for better communication. It was a hot day and they left brand new unopened soy milk and bags of breast milk outside sitting in the sun. Again how many places do you know that are scabies infested and when my child got shingles we didn't even know it was going because they didn't post it. One of the teachers school age children was on video hitting toddlers with big sticks and no teachers were near to stop it.

We are Lincoln’s foremost play-based childcare center, designed to focus on the heart of each child and family, rather than rushing children into the next stage of life. While many facilities replicate traditional classroom settings, we’ve designed our space to feel like home—warm, cozy, and comforting. This environment allows children to feel safe, relaxed, and ready to explore the world at their own pace. Our philosophy is built on the idea that children learn best through play and individualized attention, which is why we embrace proven approaches like Reggio Emilia and Montessori. Our staff have the autonomy to personalize learning experiences and cater to each child’s unique needs, something that larger, standardized programs simply can’t offer. At Foundations, we also take our responsibility to the community seriously. We provide families with resources like a family pantry and breakfast bar, and we intentionally build strong relationships with both caregivers and children. We never raise tuition for families once they enroll, ensuring they can plan long-term for their children’s care without unexpected financial strain. By choosing us, you’re choosing more than just childcare—you’re choosing a program that honors the joy and wonder of childhood while building meaningful connections that last a lifetime.
