I got into the room, he asked me some preliminary questions & then had me lay down on an exam table that had a pillow but no paper sheet. Dr Schaney didn't explain anything he was doing until he was doing it & I was shocked, in disbelief even, when he mentioned he was "going to use the needles now." I'm extremely sensitive to pain & pass out nearly every time I have to get blood taken. My PCP said that I have a sensitive vasovagal response with some syncope, as they always ask me if I have seizures when they wake me up. This is just how I am. Dr Schaney and I had been joking around up to this point so I didn't believe him about the needle until he pulled it out. So I explained to him my sensitivity, that I had no idea this was a part of the test, (he almost seemed to imply that I should have known,) and he said, "in 40 years of practice I've never lost someone" in response. Sure enough, I grew pale as he tapped the needle into my arm at different points. Thankfully the table was up against a wall that I could brace myself against. When he was done with my right arm, he told me to turn around & lay the other way. At that point I was so close to going out, that I needed to lay there & just breathe. When I adjusted so he could do the other arm, he opted NOT to do the EMG portion of the test because he was concerned with how pale I'd gotten. Duh. Why didn't he believe me? Why didn't he explain the test before he did anything? Had he performed the EMG on my left arm, I would have passed out. I felt very nauseous. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience & I left the practice very dizzy, nauseous & confused. The check-in ladies were even staring at me like I was acting strange but none of them thought to ask if everything was ok. Not a very comforting environment. I still can't believe no one prepared me for the SEVERAL INSERTIONS OF A NEEDLE INTO MY NERVE. I'm disappointed at how presumptuous & unconcerned Dr Schaney was throughout the entire ordeal.

Dr. Carley was absolutely vital to my pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and I can't recommend her…read moreor pelvic floor physical therapy enough. During my pregnancy, she helped me understand what to expect from pregnancy and birth. She created tailored workout and stretching routines that kept me feeling strong and prepared. Postpartum, she provided scar massage and internal work that were game-changers for my healing from an unexpected c-section. The education she provided along the way was just as valuable as the hands-on treatment she did because it was tailored to my body and my personal recovery. I did a ton of research myself before coming to a PT in-person, but it really couldn't compare to the value I received from having a dedicated in- person experience with Dr. Carley. During my recovery, she encouraged me to invest in an affordable pelvic floor tool for at-home internal work and I'm soooooo incredibly grateful she did. After months of persistent tailbone pain postpartum, it literally evaporated overnight once I started using the tool more regularly. I've been pain-free for weeks now, which I honestly wasn't sure was ever possible. Living with that persistent chronic pain was horrific and I'm so grateful to experience life without it again. What sets Dr. Carley apart is that she doesn't just treat you -- she teaches you to understand and advocate for your own body. That knowledge stays with you long after your appointments end & are with every penny. Payment wise, they take cash patients and certain insurances. Ironically my insurance cost was more expensive unless I hit my deductible so if you're not covered under insurance don't let that stop you from reaching out about a cash payment. If you're pregnant, postpartum, or dealing with pelvic floor issues, visiting Dr. Carley is absolutely worth it

I was referred to physical therapy from my Primary Care Physician due to a concussion related…read moresymptoms & problems I've been experiencing. I did my intake with Erik O. & he was made aware that the concussion stemmed from domestic violence-physical abuse. I also made Erik aware of the PFA that's set in place along with the police report 23-19189. Erik encouraged physical therapy twice a week after his evaluations. However during the appointment today, we tried a new exercise. The exercise involved him touching my neck, shoulders and head as I laid on the table. Erik asked me how my holiday went, I explained to him & he considered what I did to be high activity. Erik states, if you were doing high activity yesterday how is the exercise right now hurting you if you were able to do all of the high activities yesterday because it's not making sense? I told him I'm not lying. & he insisted otherwise & I just told him it wasn't going to work out and he made the most snarkiest comment. I felt so humiliated & disrespected. As explained before, I was badly assaulted and the person that committed this crime is being charged with assault & felony strangulation charges (public information). I do not have to lie about my abuse, what happened to me or go into detail because of speculation on Erik's behalf. It was already a mental battle for me to go to physical therapy because I am easily triggered right now. Mind you, the same exercises Erik was doing today I was also assaulted on my neck, shoulders, head & I was trying my best to keep myself together mentally and emotionally. I am currently doing physical therapy because of health related issues I'm experiencing due to assault. It's a blessing that Im still living to see another day. I will not be returning. I do not recommend this practice. The receptionist that I spoke with after to cancel my appointment for this Friday was very supportive, caring and apologetic. She did however offer to switch me to another PT. I will not pay for services to be mistreated and told that I don't make sense. "High activity" doesn't take away from what happened to me. I am still very shocked. Again, I wouldn't recommend.

First impressions are everything and the receptionist was too busy to get me started with a new patient appointment. She told me to wait for her at the back door so she could give me paperwork to fill out. Good thing I sat down because 13 minutes later she was still doing other things like talking on the phone getting a payment instead of getting me checked in. Finally, i get ushered back into an exam room and the nurse puts a sliver of protective paper over where I am supposed to put my face on the most hideous chair I have ever seen. It must be from the 60's and the leather is almost completely worn off and full of super old foam. Eww. There is no way I was gonna lay down on that thing, and I had to wonder if they don't care about the chair, do they care about the patient in it? I didn't want to find out. Update: Thank you for the response but I am looking for a healthcare provider that provides a comfortable, safe facility conducive to my healing and that includes aesthetically pleasing rooms and enough office staff to make it a welcoming first encounter. Thanks and good luck to your reupholstered chairs.
